Nezha nodded and quickly sprang into action. He circled around Li Ming, attempting to pull him away from the danger zone, but Li Ming suddenly turned, his gaze fierce, and threw a punch at Nezha.
"Li Ming, it's me! Nezha!" Nezha dodged the attack, trying to awaken him. "Wake up! Don't let them control you!"
Li Ming ignored him, continuing his mechanical assault. Nezha had no choice but to subdue him, though he was cautious not to use too much force for fear of hurting his classmate who was under control.
Meanwhile, Ao Bing charged directly at Shen Gongbao, using both hands to guide the water flow and create a wall of water in an attempt to sever the energy flow of the formation. Shen Gongbao's eyes flashed with anger at this sight, but he did not stop chanting; instead, he quickened his incantation.
The light of the formation grew stronger, and the air began to distort as if something were about to break free. Ao Bing realized the urgency of the situation and decided to go all out. He formed hand seals, fully activating the bloodline of the Dragon Tribe within him, radiating a faint blue light.
"Sealing Technique!" Ao Bing shouted, slamming his hands down onto the ground.
A wave of blue energy rippled from his palms, quickly covering the entire formation. Shen Gongbao's chant was forcibly interrupted, and the light of the formation began to waver.
"No!" Shen Gongbao roared. "I will not fail!"
He struggled to maintain the ritual, but Ao Bing's Sealing Technique was powerful, causing the energy of the formation to start dissipating. Just as victory seemed within reach, Ao Bing suddenly felt a wave of weakness; the backlash from the sealing technique drained his strength rapidly.
Seizing the opportunity, Shen Gongbao waved his hand, sending a surge of black mist toward Ao Bing. Caught off guard, Ao Bing was struck directly and sent flying against the wall.
"Ao Bing!" Nezha cried out upon seeing this and rushed toward him, only to be blocked by Li Ming.
In that critical moment, an unexpected turn of events occurred. The Dragon Scale at the center of the formation began to tremble violently before erupting with a dazzling light that shot straight into the sky. This beam seemed to pierce through space, connecting to an unknown realm.
"Success!" Shen Gongbao laughed wildly, "The Dragon Gate has opened!"
However, his laughter quickly ceased. A majestic figure emerged from the light, indistinct yet exuding an overwhelming pressure.
"Is... is that the Dragon King?" Ao Bing struggled to lift his head, disbelief etched on his face as he gazed at the figure.
"Impossible!" Shen Gongbao retreated in terror, "The Dragon King has already..."
The figure did not speak; it merely waved a hand gently, and an invisible force descended upon Shen Gongbao. He let out a scream, his body bound by unseen ropes, unable to move.
At the same time, Li Ming, who had been controlled, suddenly regained consciousness and looked around in confusion. "How... how did I end up here?"
The light flickered a few more times before gradually dissipating. As the glow faded, the formation collapsed entirely, and seven Dragon Pattern Items along with a Dragon Scale fell from the air, scattering across the ground.
The entire laboratory returned to silence, as if everything that had just occurred was merely an illusion. Only Shen Gongbao, bound on the floor, and the weakened Ao Bing in the corner bore witness to the reality of what had transpired.
Nezha rushed to Ao Bing's side, helping him sit up. "Are you alright?" His voice was filled with concern.
Ao Bing smiled weakly and shook his head. "I'm fine; I just expended too much energy." His gaze fell upon the scattered Dragon Scales and Dragon Pattern Items on the ground. "We must gather these items; we can't let them fall into the wrong hands."
Nezha nodded and quickly began picking up the items one by one, including the Azure Dragon Scale. As he grasped the Dragon Scale, a strange warmth spread throughout his body, as if the scale recognized him.
