At that moment, the curtain lifted, and Shen Tong and Lin Mingchang, who had been helping at the front, walked in.

Lin Mingchang jumped up and grabbed Shen Tong's arm. "Let's go! What are we waiting for? I'll go with you!"
Accompanied by Lin Mingchang, Shen Tong bypassed the blocked Qi Yun Temple and arrived at the valley entrance on the back mountain.
"This is it," Shen Tong stopped, pointing ahead. "The underground yin energy seeps out from there, merging with the spring water flowing down from the mountain."
Lin Mingchang raised his flashlight to illuminate where Shen Tong was pointing; it was a patch of seemingly ordinary bushes.
The two pushed through the underbrush to reveal a sheer rock face. The area in front of the rock was damp and chilly, yet warm breezes occasionally blew out from deep within.
Before the rock face grew a cluster of bizarre plants—flowers so vividly colored they resembled blood-red eyes with pupils as dark as ink.
"Gui Mu Cao... found it..." Shen Tong whispered as she reached out to touch it; surprisingly, the flowers trembled slightly as her fingers approached.
Lin Mingchang watched this eerie scene with a complex expression. Following Shen Tong had made him somewhat accustomed to encountering these inexplicable phenomena.
With gentle fingers, Shen Tong pinched off a stem of Gui Mu Cao; at that moment, as it was plucked, it emitted a faint wail akin to a baby's cry—brief yet chilling.
Shen Tong placed the harvested Gui Mu Cao into a prepared cloth bag. Without delay, they immediately returned to Fang's Restoration Hall.
In the following two days, Fang Zigui's clinic transformed into a small-scale pharmaceutical factory. Shen Tong, Xiaoshuang, apprentice Xiao Gu, Lin Mingchang, and two Little Officers that Lin Mingchang had temporarily recruited formed an assembly line.
