The path ahead was blocked by several massive boulders, forcing him to take a detour. By the time he circled around, Stone Disc had vanished from sight. Fortunately, his senses still picked up traces of Stone Disc. Mo Wen continued to chase after him, lamenting as he weaved through the rocky terrain. After about three hours of pursuit, even Mo Wen, with his Realm, began to sweat. 0

He stopped in front of a stone wall, his face twisted in bitterness and growing increasingly pale. He had lost track of Stone Disc entirely; it was clear that Stone Disc had disappeared into the wall. Examining the towering stone wall before him, he felt a sense of oppression as he looked up at it. Until now, his focus had been solely on Stone Disc, and he hadn’t taken the time to observe the wall. Stepping back a hundred paces, he climbed atop a stone pillar. From the top, he finally got a clear view of the entire wall: it stood over a hundred feet tall and spanned several dozen feet wide. The marks on the wall indicated that it was not naturally formed; there were clear signs of excavation. Looking from the bottom to the top, he noticed a carved plaque at the center of the upper portion, most of which was obscured by trees growing on the wall. Occasionally, a faint glow flickered across it, revealing three stone-carved characters—“ Gate of the Xuantian.” 0

“ Gate of the Xuantian? Could this wall be a great gate!” Upon seeing those three characters and examining the wall again, it indeed resembled a door. The wall appeared to be two door panels joined together, with a vertical line dividing it in half. The position of “ Gate of the Xuantian ” corresponded perfectly with the lintel of this grand gate. Only then did Mo Wen grasp the entirety of “ Gate of the Xuantian,” marveling at its grandeur. If it truly was a gate, what lay beyond it? With these thoughts racing through his mind, excitement surged within him once more. However, the stone gate was marred by years of erosion, making it look more like an ordinary stone wall. 0

Though his heart burned with anticipation, his only hope had slipped away. Gazing at the massive gate before him, Mo Wen couldn’t help but smile wryly; pushing open such an enormous stone door by sheer force was impossible for him alone—even Old Lu would struggle against it. As for breaking down the door with brute strength? That was merely wishful thinking. Now that Mo Wen had observed closely, he realized that the marks on the door were not merely wind erosion but signs of attacks; some gouges were estimated to be five or six feet deep—evidence left behind many years ago. Just how powerful must those who left these marks have been! This attack must date back at least forty thousand years. 0

As Mo Wen studied the traces on the stone door, he recalled that when the ancestors of the the Li Family obtained the stele forty thousand years ago, they likely lacked the power to leave such marks themselves. Moreover, there were multiple traces on the door; some were so eroded they were nearly indistinguishable while others showed layers of old injuries compounded by new ones. 0

“This bone is definitely tough; I doubt my teeth could gnaw through it,” he concluded helplessly. Yet giving up was clearly not an option. Regardless of what lay beyond that stone door—or even just to find Stone Disc —he believed that with his intelligence and ingenuity, he would surely devise a way to open it. 0
