After careful consideration, Mo Wen decided to try a relatively safer method first—blood recognition. However, as soon as his blood dripped onto the little tree, it almost dyed the entire sapling red. The blood quickly slid down and seeped into the white crystalline powder at the roots, disappearing without a trace. After waiting for two hours with no success, Mo Wen sat beside it, not idle but instead regulating his breath in preparation for the next refining attempt. He brought his hands close to the sapling and began to circulate his Kung Fu. 0

"Uh..." The little sapling began to wilt under the influence of the Law of Power. Mo Wen hurriedly withdrew his hands, but the condition of the sapling did not improve afterward. This was somewhat expected yet also surprising. "Never mind, I can't waste it!" He pulled up the sapling and stuffed it into his mouth; dying in his stomach was better than watching it wither away. After all, if it was going to die anyway, he might as well let it serve its remaining purpose. 0

Swallowing the sapling, he looked at the white crystalline powder in the box. Although Elder Zhu had said it had no value, Mo Wen thought that since it originally contained abundant divine power as a top-grade material, even if consumed, what remained should not go to waste. After all, he had spent ten ingots on it. He grabbed a handful of crystalline powder and began to consume it. 0

"Hmm? No effect?" Mo Wen opened his eyes and looked at the powder in the box. Then he picked up the box and poured its contents into his mouth all at once, not forgetting to pat the bottom of the box before taking a sip of tea to wash it down. Regardless of whether he could absorb it or not, at least he would be full; this was Mo Wen's thought process. Of course, the main reason was still that he felt sorry for spending those ten ingots. He put away the box and the Jade Tablet, sitting upright at his desk, waiting for the effects of what he had consumed. 0

Sitting at his desk all night, Mo Wen felt only a sense of fullness and did not receive the results he had hoped for. At least he could comfort himself with the fact that his ten ingots were not wasted. 0

"Oh? Are you leaving now, young friend? There are still two days until our agreed date; you could enjoy some time in town," Zhu Chi said when Mo Wen packed up and went to Huo Lou early in the morning. Although there were still two days left, Mo Wen no longer felt like waiting. 0

"Could it be that Elder Zhu is not yet prepared?" Mo Wen countered. 0

"Hehe, what I have prepared for you has long been ready; I am just surprised that you are so quick to get ready and want to set off," Zhu Chi replied with an awkward smile. 0

"That's good to hear. Since you are prepared, I will depart today while it's still early." 0

"Alright then, since you are ready, I will hand over the promised supplies to you; please check them." Saying this, Zhu Chi took out a storage bag and handed it to Mo Wen. Mo Wen accepted the storage bag and stuffed it into his robe without hesitation. Seeing this action surprised Zhu Chi a bit. 0

"Huo Lou has always been known for its reputation; if I cannot trust you, then I cannot trust Huo Lou," Mo Wen said with a respectful gesture upon noticing Zhu Chi's surprised expression. 0

"Very well then; I wish you a smooth journey. I will be waiting here for your return," Zhu Chi replied with a bow as well, and they bid farewell to each other. 0

Once outside Huo Lou, Mo Wen headed straight for Lava Sea. According to his previous agreement with Zhu Chi, he needed to reach the Lava Sea Dock managed by Huo Lou in order to enter Lava Sea from there. Of course, returning would be the same; there would naturally be someone waiting for him at this dock. 0
