Jiang Chen did not react, instead gazing out at the scenery outside the window, lost in thought.

Li Yang insisted on using it, while Zeng Xianyi preferred to resolve matters through martial arts. In the end, Li Yang conceded a bit and agreed to let Zeng Xianyi try his martial approach first; if that failed, he would resort to using the Super Weapon.
After more than three hours, the bus finally arrived in Fenglin City in Xiangxi. The members of the Holy Witch Cult were now scattered throughout Fenglin City, along with the Poison Witch Cult, Ming Witch Cult, and Black Witch Cult strongholds.
To deal with them effectively, Li Yang rightly pointed out that they needed to gather them together. However, figuring out how to do that and then catch them all at once would require some effort.
The two buses pulled up to a hotel in Fenglin City that had been booked by Li Yang. After settling everyone in, Li Yang took some people to visit Liao Yangmai at the hospital. Jiang Chen followed along with Li Yang.
At the hospital entrance stood ten people from last night’s dinner party; however, they were stopped by security personnel.
" Clan Leader Liao has stated that he will not meet anyone," the head of security directly refused as soon as Li Yang explained their purpose.
There was no way around it; many people had come to see Liao Yangmai over the past few days. Members from other families had now sided with the Holy Witch Cult and came daily to persuade Liao Yangmai not to resist futilely. This had made Liao Yangmai quite irritated, leading him to issue an order that no one should be allowed in.
Li Yang and his group were dressed casually, so security naturally did not let them through and even showed little interest in notifying anyone. If Li Yang had been in formal attire, they certainly would not have dared to stop him.
"Just tell Liao Yangmai that it's Li Yang from the Southwest Military Region who wishes to see him," Li Yang said, realizing that invoking his title was necessary after all.
The mention of the Southwest Military Region carried significant weight.
The several Security personnel, all of whom were veterans, took another look at Li Yang and immediately became more cautious. The Security Chief quickly entered the special care ward to report.
