Three paths lay before Mo Wen. The first was to stay here and prepare for the impending storm; the second was to flee towards the direction of the Lava Bat, as these creatures living in the Lava Sea could naturally find a relatively safe place to weather the storm; the last option was to advance towards the direction from which the storm was coming. 0

After careful consideration, Mo Wen decided to press on towards the storm. He had enough confidence in his ability to survive it. For a month, he moved against the wind, searching for suitable refuge while gathering materials. The caves that had once been occupied by Demon Beasts were now deserted, and he made sure not to miss any useful items within. The wind grew stronger, and the once calm Lava Sea began to churn violently, with waves reaching heights of over twenty feet. His small boat could no longer withstand such ferocious storms, forcing Mo Wen to halt his progress. 0

He found himself at a massive "pillar," the largest he had seen since entering the Lava Sea, spanning several dozen miles. Mo Wen guessed that this pillar must be a colossal mountain on the surface. With the molten waves crashing against his back, he began climbing upwards. He needed to reach a relatively high position; however, the summit was out of reach as it was already occupied by Flying Beasts. At that moment, other Demon Beasts that had once thrived in the lava were also climbing up, engaging in fierce battles over territory. Defeated Demon Beasts fell from the Mountain Body into the lava below, while those perched at the top circled around, waiting to prey on any climbing Demon Beasts. 0

Rocks, corpses of Demon Beasts, and fragments of bodies occasionally tumbled past him, narrowly missing Mo Wen. Compared to the Demon Beasts, he was merely a small figure and thus did not attract their attention. Nonetheless, he remained cautious and spent two days searching for an ideal refuge. He eventually discovered a vertical cliff devoid of caves and began carving out a dwelling in the rock face with his tools. Inside a cave about three yards deep, he quickly set up a Magic Circle and anchored his Lava Skiff to the stone wall. 0

"Wu Wu..." The howling wind outside whistled through the towering stone pillars rising from the sea, creating an eerie wailing sound. This wind had been blowing for half a month and was growing stronger by the day. The wind stirred up molten lava into increasingly massive waves that crashed against the pillars with booming sounds. Accompanying this roar were grinding noises as stones rubbed against each other; some smaller pillars could not withstand the onslaught and eventually collapsed into the lava. 0

Outside, tumultuous waves surged while fierce winds raged. The Fire Spirit Power ignited under intense collisions and friction, forming Fire Tornadoes on the surface of the sea. A strange scene unfolded as these Fire Tornadoes drew molten lava upwards, creating towering stone pillars within them that were subsequently knocked down by incoming waves into the sea. 0

Mo Wen shifted his gaze back inside through the Magic Circle and saw that molten waves were only about one yard away from his hiding place. The lava flowing from both sides of the Mountain Body had already risen above his current position. The rushing lava streams converged behind the Mountain Body to form two massive whirlpools that counteracted each other, creating a relatively calm lake surface where materials and corpses of Demon Beasts gathered from afar. Watching these resources in the lake made Mo Wen's mouth water; however, compared to his own life, they were hardly worth considering. 0
