"I'm rather interested in your junior sister now; we can discuss it tomorrow—there's no rush," Jiang Chen replied with a slight smile.
Liu Liangmei frowned, feeling increasingly uncomfortable. "My junior sister is exceptionally charming and has mastered my master's Daji's Enchantment Technique. There’s probably no man in this world who wouldn’t be interested in her," she said, her tone subtly off.
Jiang Chen paused and glanced at Liu Liangmei. "She hasn't used any Daji's Enchantment Technique on me; my interest in her isn't due to her beauty," he said with a hint of helplessness in his smile.
"Then what is it for?" Liu Liangmei quickly pressed on.
"It's because of her talent. You mentioned that your junior sister's talent surpasses yours; thus, even if she started later than you, her strength now exceeds yours," Jiang Chen explained.
"Talent? Mr. Jiang, you don't intend to take her as your disciple, do you?" Liu Liangmei asked in surprise.
"Not at all," Jiang Chen chuckled.
Liu Liangmei was confused, but Jiang Chen seemed unwilling to elaborate.
"Although she has potential, her past misdeeds disqualify her from being my disciple. Besides, I don't lack disciples; keeping her around serves its own purpose," Jiang Chen explained.
Originally, Jiang Chen had no intention of accepting any disciples, but on Earth, he found himself compelled to take on a few. He wouldn't be staying on Earth for long, so it was necessary for him to have his own disciples to hold the fort.
