I returned to the hotel after nine o'clock. As soon as I walked in, I saw the four of them in our room. Pang Hao was the first to notice me and pulled me over, asking, "Jie, where have you been? We were about to call the police! Don't go missing like that again!" A Fei also came over, saying, "Yeah, Jie, where did you go? Why did you come back so late? We were really worried about you." I felt great at that moment and stretched lazily, joking, "Of course, I went out to drink the northwest wind on the street. I'm exhausted; I need to sleep!" With that, I jumped onto the bed. I heard Shuai Dong discussing with A Fei behind me, "This guy must have been sweet-talking Xia Ying again; he must be on cloud nine. Pang Hao, let's go to sleep too." Then I heard a crisp sound of the door closing as they returned to their room. 0

I lay on the bed and opened my phone to log onto QQ. As soon as I logged in, there was a friend request with the verification message: Wang Yaqian. I immediately accepted it; this message must have been sent a long time ago. After adding her, I saw she had already gone offline. I changed her name in my contacts to Ya and got up to brush my teeth, wash my face, and take a shower. After that, I leaped onto the bed and happily drifted off to sleep... 0

In my hazy state, I felt like I had entered a paradise. The mountains were clear and the water was beautiful. Suddenly, a figure appeared from afar and walked closer. When it reached me, I recognized it was Ya! I rushed over to her and asked, "Ya, what are you doing here?" "Hmm, I've been waiting for you," she replied with a sweet smile. "Really? Hehe." I walked over to her and gently took her hand: "Ya, you know, I..." Suddenly, a loud shout interrupted me: "Xiang Jie!!! I'm going to kill you!" Turning around, I saw Xia Ying charging at me with a large kitchen knife. I turned and ran as fast as I could; Xia Ying was right behind me. I felt my foot trip over a stone and then "thud," I fell to the ground. Xia Ying rushed over, swinging the knife down at me... 0

"Help!" I suddenly opened my eyes and realized I was lying on the floor. A Fei and Jiang Lingfeng were watching me. "What are you doing? Why are you staring at me?" I stood up from the floor. A Fei yawned and said, "Dude, you're rolling around and shouting in the middle of the night; how can we not wake up?" Suddenly remembering my dream, I awkwardly smiled at them: "Hehe, Brothers, sorry about that; it's all my fault. Time to sleep..." With that, I pulled the blanket back onto the bed and prepared to continue sleeping. Jiang Lingfeng said to me, "Jie, we have a match tomorrow morning; don't mess around. Get some good sleep." He patted my shoulder as well. With a smile on my face, I nodded and burrowed back into my blanket. However, once under the covers, I found myself unable to sleep; counting sheep didn't help even after reaching over a thousand. Checking my phone revealed it was already two in the morning. What should I do? Putting on headphones, I opened an app to listen to music and played "Bite Ear" from Supreme League. Listening to this song made my heart feel complicated; no! I only like Xia Ying; Wang Yaqian is just a good friend—no more inappropriate thoughts! 0

I listened to music until around five in the morning when my ears were buzzing and my eyes hurt a bit. Gently getting out of bed, I slowly folded my blanket before sneaking out of the room. It was already bright outside. Taking a deep breath of fresh air after leaving the hotel felt great; morning air is indeed refreshing! As I walked down the street, vendors selling breakfast were already open for business—there were fried dough sticks with soy milk and various types of pancakes filling the air with delicious aromas. However, I'm not used to eating without brushing my teeth first; so I continued walking for some morning exercise. 0

"Jie, did you have insomnia last night?" Suddenly Jiang Lingfeng's voice came from beside me. Turning around, I saw him standing about three meters behind me; apparently, I'd woken him up when leaving without realizing someone was following me. 0

"Ah! Ling Feng Senior is out too?" I turned back towards him and said. "Yeah, I heard you leave," Jiang Lingfeng replied as he approached me. "Jie, don't let anything disturb or cloud your heart," he suddenly said seriously. My heart skipped a beat—did Jiang Lingfeng know something? "Captain, don't worry; my heart is particularly strong," I joked back. "You probably saw someone you wanted to meet last night," Jiang Lingfeng said while gazing into the distance with a serious tone: "Jie, Xia Ying is a great girl; don't miss out." Lowering my head slightly, I confessed: "Captain, I'm not hiding anything from you either—I ran into that girl from the restaurant at the park last night." Jiang Lingfeng seemed to have guessed it already: "Did you ask her out or did you run into her by chance?" "Captain, where are your thoughts going? We ran into each other by chance; we've never met before—just ordinary friends," I quickly explained. 0

"That's good then! Let's head back; it's already six-thirty and we need to leave by seven-thirty for our match." "Okay." With that we walked back towards the hotel. Upon returning to our room, A Fei was getting dressed. Seeing us walk in together he smiled and greeted us: "You two went out for morning exercise together today? Why didn't you call me?" As I walked towards my bed, I replied: "I didn't want to wake you since you were sleeping so soundly! Shuai Dong and Pang Hao aren't awake yet?" Seeing how quiet it was in the room indicated those two hadn't gotten up yet. 0

After preparing for a while we headed towards Kuda Square for our final match of this round-robin tournament. Although we had already advanced ahead of time this match would determine whether we could secure first place in our group—so this battle for supremacy was crucial for us. 0

Upon arriving at Kuda Plaza Gymnasium we spotted three extremely intimidating figures wearing jerseys emblazoned with “Horsemen.” So these were members of Hohhot Champion Horsemen Team! All three stood around six feet tall with tattoos on their arms and their heads completely braided—it sent shivers down my spine! Wow! Aren't these just half-beasts from legends? 0
