The ground shook violently once more.
Xuan Yang struggled to maintain his balance, warily scanning his surroundings.
A larger Black Monster emerged from the depths, exuding an overwhelming sense of pressure that was suffocating.
"Second Trial, begin!" The voice echoed again, laced with a hint of mockery.
Xuan Yang gritted his teeth, knowing that this battle would be even more challenging.
He commanded the shadows to launch an attack on the monster.
The shadows surged toward the creature like a tide but failed to penetrate its tough skin.
The monster let out a deafening roar, swinging its massive claws and shredding the shadows to pieces.
Xuan Yang's heart sank as he realized that this monster had formidable defenses; ordinary attacks were utterly ineffective.
He needed to find another way.
Observing the monster once more, he sought to identify its weakness.
He noticed a red mark on the creature's abdomen, seemingly its vulnerable spot.
He directed the shadows to concentrate their assault on the monster's belly.
The shadow lunged like a sharp spear towards the monster's abdomen, yet it still failed to break through its defenses.
The monster let out a painful roar and angrily charged at Xuan Yang.
Xuan Yang quickly dodged, narrowly avoiding the creature's attack.
He knew he had to find a way to breach the monster's defenses quickly, or he would undoubtedly meet his demise.
He closed his eyes, focusing his mind and feeling the power surging within him.

The monster let out a piercing scream before collapsing to the ground, its body gradually dissipating.
"Congratulations, you have passed the Second Trial," the voice echoed again, tinged with a hint of surprise. "You have demonstrated extraordinary talent."
Xuan Yang opened his eyes, feeling an overwhelming surge of power within him.
He knew he had begun to master the ability to manipulate shadows.
He left the Shadow Realm and returned to the real world.
To his surprise, he found himself still in the dilapidated temple.
He stood up, stretching his body and realizing that his strength had significantly increased compared to before.
Clenching his fists, confidence radiated from his gaze.
He understood that he was growing stronger step by step, inching closer to the truth.
As he exited the crumbling temple, he saw Village Chief Lu Zhiyuan standing at the entrance, looking anxious as he awaited his return.
"Xuan Yang, are you alright?" Lu Zhiyuan asked with concern.
"I'm fine, Village Chief," Xuan Yang replied. "I have awakened my Ability."
Upon hearing this, a look of relief and joy spread across Lu Zhiyuan's face.
"That's great, Xuan Yang," Lu Zhiyuan said. "You've awakened your Ability."
"Village Chief, I want to know, who exactly am I?" Xuan Yang asked.
Lu Zhiyuan sighed and replied, "Xuan Yang, your background is a secret I cannot disclose."
"I understand, Village Chief," Xuan Yang said. "But I need to know something."
After a moment of silence, Lu Zhiyuan spoke again, "One of you and Si Yang must be the reincarnation of the Puppet Master."
Xuan Yang was taken aback by the revelation. "Why is it me and Si Yang? There are so many children in the village."
He had long suspected that his origins were not simple, but he never imagined he would be the reincarnation of the Puppet Master.
"What is the Puppet Master?" Xuan Yang asked.
"The Puppet Master is the guardian of this world," Lu Zhiyuan explained. "He is also the only one capable of fighting against the Shadow Force."
"The Shadow Force?" Xuan Yang inquired.
"The Shadow Force is the greatest threat to this world," Lu Zhiyuan said. "They seek to control this world and turn it into their own Puppet Master."
"I understand now, Village Chief," Xuan Yang declared. "I will stop them."
Lu Zhiyuan nodded and said, "I believe with your current abilities, you can do it, Xuan Yang."
Suddenly, a commotion erupted in the distance.
"What’s going on?" Lu Zhiyuan asked.
"I'll go take a look," Xuan Yang replied.
Xuan Yang ran towards the source of the disturbance.
He saw a group of villagers surrounding a girl, pointing at her and murmuring among themselves.
"It’s her, it’s definitely her! She’s the one responsible for the anomaly that has disrupted our peaceful lives!"
"Grab her and hand her over to the Village Chief for punishment!"
As Xuan Yang focused his gaze, he realized it was Si Yang.
Fury surged within him as he rushed forward, positioning himself protectively in front of Qu Si Yang.
"What do you think you're doing?" Xuan Yang shouted angrily.
"Xuan Yang, you've awakened your Ability too!" Qu Si Yang exclaimed in surprise.
"Si Yang, are you alright?" Xuan Yang asked with concern.
"I'm fine," Qu Si Yang replied, "it's just..."
"What do you mean?" Xuan Yang asked.
Qu Si Yang hesitated for a moment and said, "It's just that they say I am the culprit behind the strange phenomenon, that I am the source of the chaos in the village."
Hearing this, Xuan Yang felt even angrier.
He turned to the villagers and shouted, "What evidence do you have to prove that she caused the phenomenon?"
The villagers exchanged glances, too afraid to speak.
At that moment, Village Chief Lu Zhiyuan approached.
"What’s going on?" Lu Zhiyuan asked.
"Village Chief, they say Si Yang is the culprit behind the strange phenomenon," Xuan Yang replied.
Lu Zhiyuan looked at Qu Si Yang and asked, "Si Yang, do you have anything to say?"
Qu Si Yang shook her head and said, "I don’t, because I don’t know what they are talking about."
Lu Zhiyuan pondered for a moment and said, "Si Yang was born during a celestial event, but I have said before that it is an omen of good fortune, not chaos."
"Village Chief!" the villagers shouted in dissatisfaction.
"Shut up!" Lu Zhiyuan roared. "This matter ends here."
The villagers, though dissatisfied, did not dare to defy the Village Chief's orders and had no choice but to disperse.
Xuan Yang let out a sigh of relief. He turned to Qu Si Yang and asked, “Si Yang, are you alright?”
Qu Si Yang shook his head and replied, “I’m fine, thank you, Xuan Yang.”
Xuan Yang smiled and said, “That’s good to hear.”
Suddenly, he felt a new weight of responsibility on his shoulders.
Not only did he need to protect Qu Si Yang, but he also had to safeguard the entire village.
He clenched his fists, determination shining in his eyes.
He knew that his mission was just beginning.
At that moment, a loud bang echoed from afar…
