“Brother Lucius, could you do me a favor?” Luna's baby voice echoed in the garden, as clear and pleasant as the wind rustling through the leaves.
Her round, sparkling eyes glimmered with mischief, and her little face flushed with excitement, resembling a ripe peach.
Lucius looked at his three-year-old sister, filled with curiosity. This little girl was always full of surprises; he wondered what scheme she was concocting this time.
“What kind of favor? Tell me,” he bent down, gently teasing her little nose with his long fingers.
Luna leaned closer to Lucius's ear and whispered something.
Lucius's expression gradually turned serious, a flicker of shock passing through his eyes. He stared at Luna in disbelief, opening his mouth but momentarily at a loss for words.
It turned out that Luna had just revealed to Lucius solutions to the magical dilemmas faced by their elder brother, Second Brother, and Brother San.
Their elder brother had been disabled due to a Magic Backlash and was bedridden for years. Yet Luna claimed to know an Ancient Magic Ritual that could repair his damaged Magic Circuit.
Second Brother had been deceived by a close friend and fell into a Magic Dilemma; Luna asserted she knew how to break it.
Even Brother San, who was believed to have excellent Magical Talent but had neglected his training, was not without potential according to Luna. She pointed out that his training methods were flawed and provided specific suggestions for improvement.
In their elder brother's dimly lit room, the light cast shadows on his pale face.
After hearing Luna's advice, a glimmer of hope ignited in his previously dull eyes.
“Really... can it really work?” His voice trembled with disbelief and excitement.
Luna nodded vigorously, her pink face filled with seriousness.
“Elder Brother, trust me! We can give it a try!”
Meanwhile, Second Brother paced back and forth in his study, Luna's words echoing in his mind.
He recalled the experience of being deceived by a close friend, filled with contradictions and struggles.
He knew that Luna's suggestion might be his only hope, but he was afraid of being hurt again, afraid of being disappointed once more.
After much hesitation, he finally decided to take a leap of faith. “Let’s treat a dead horse as if it were alive! It’s better than sitting idly by!”
Brother San wore an expression of shame.
He had always been considered the child with the highest Magical Talent in the family, yet he had squandered his potential due to his playful nature.
Luna's words struck him like a sharp sword, piercing the softest part of his heart.
Clenching his fists, he looked determined. “Luna, I’ll listen to you. I will start training again!”
In Aelia's room, the atmosphere was tense.
Qin Si stood by, watching Aelia burn the Letterhead, her heart filled with mixed emotions.
“Madam, are you really going to do this?” she asked softly.
Aelia took a deep breath. “I can’t wait any longer. I must fight for a future for myself and for the Children.” Memories of her past love with Leonard flooded her mind, causing her heart to ache.
Those sweet memories had turned into sharp blades, torturing her heart with every cut.
“Qin Si, help me gather evidence of Leonard's betrayal. I want him to be disgraced and pay the price he deserves!” Aelia's voice was cold, devoid of any warmth.
In the garden, Lucius remained lost in shock.
He watched Luna and Brother San playing together, his mind racing with thoughts.
This sister was far more complicated than he had imagined.
He decided to observe the situation quietly, curious to see what other cards Luna might hold.
Meanwhile, Leonard returned to the Magic Castle, sensing a subtle change in the atmosphere at home that made him uneasy.
He felt as if something was about to happen, yet he couldn't grasp what it was.
"Sir, you have returned," the butler greeted respectfully.
Leonard nodded and walked straight to his study. "Where is the lady?"
"The lady is resting in her room," the butler replied.
Leonard pushed open the door to the study, and an unusual aura rushed toward him.
Furrowing his brow, he sat down at the desk. "What's going on? It feels like something is off..." he murmured, his gaze sweeping over the documents on the table. Suddenly, as if he had discovered something, he sprang to his feet, his expression changing drastically. "This... how is this possible..."
