Luna's small face was filled with anxiety as she tightly grasped Aelia's hand, her tiny body trembling slightly from nervousness.
Tears welled up in her big eyes, her voice choked with emotion. "Mother, you have to be strong! No matter what happens, you must hold on for yourself and the baby!"
Aelia's complexion was pale, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
She clutched Luna's hand as if it were the last lifeline available to her.
Her gaze was filled with unease and confusion as she weakly said, "Luna, can I really do this? I don't know what to do without you..."
Luna looked at Aelia with a pained expression, knowing that Aelia had always lived under the protection of the Glorious Demon Fortress and had never faced real storms in life.
Now, Leonard's betrayal filled her with fear for the future.
"Mother, you can do it!" Luna declared firmly. "You have to believe in yourself; you still have me and this child! I will always be by your side!"
With that, Luna took a deep breath and gently placed her small hand on Aelia's prominently rounded belly.
She closed her eyes, focused her mind, and began to chant the spell.
A soft and warm magical power surged from her palm, slowly flowing into Aelia's body.
However, just as the magical power entered Aelia's abdomen, an unexpected change occurred!
A powerful suction suddenly emerged, pulling the magical power from Luna’s body like a flood breaking through a dam, wildly rushing toward Aelia’s belly.
The strength of that pull was so intense that she felt utterly powerless against it!
"Ah!" Luna gasped, her face turning pale as paper in an instant.
She sensed her magical power draining away at a terrifying speed, as if it were being completely siphoned off.
"Luna! What’s wrong?" Aelia asked in panic, feeling Luna’s hand growing cold.
Luna tried to stop the magic but found herself unable to control it at all.
She opened her eyes wide in terror, her heart filled with unease. "What... what is happening?"
Just as Luna was in a panic, she felt the chaotic and impure magic, the Turbidity that belonged to the Great Mage within her, stirring restlessly.
Immediately, this Turbidity surged uncontrollably from her body, like a flood that had found its outlet, rushing wildly toward Aelia's abdomen.
What shocked Luna even more was that the baby inside seemed to show great interest in this Turbidity.
It greedily absorbed the Turbidity as if it were savoring a delicious meal.
Not only that, but it also subtly expressed disdain for the ordinary magical power that Luna was supplying, as if it had grown accustomed to delicacies and no longer cared for plain fare.
Luna was both astonished and annoyed; she never expected this unborn child to be so picky.
Yet she also sensed that this child was not ordinary.
As the Turbidity continued to flow in, Luna's Magical Power weakened increasingly.
She felt her body growing weaker, as if she might collapse at any moment.
Finally, after absorbing all the Turbidity, the baby seemed to have had its fill.
It stopped absorbing the Magical Power and settled down quietly.
"Mother... the baby... it seems like it's about to come out..." Luna said weakly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Aelia also felt intense pain in her abdomen as her water broke.
She groaned in agony, her face turning even paler.
"Qin Si! Hurry! Go fetch the Magic Midwife and Magic Physician!" Lucius shouted anxiously toward the door.
Qin Si had been so frightened that she didn't know what to do; upon hearing Lucius's voice, she finally snapped back to reality and ran outside.
The atmosphere in the room suddenly became tense, filled with Aelia's painful moans, Luna's weak gasps, and Lucius's anxious footsteps, creating a suffocating sense of oppression.
At that moment, a flash of lightning split the night sky, followed by a deafening Jing Lei that exploded above Magic Castle.
The entire room was illuminated as if it were Daylight.
Lucius stood by the window, watching the storm outside, murmuring to himself, "What... what is happening? Could it be..."
He abruptly turned his head to look toward Aelia's room.
"Ah..." Aelia let out a heart-wrenching scream, and then a dazzling light burst forth from her abdomen, illuminating the entire room.
"Wow..." A resounding Loud Cry pierced the air, accompanied by an even more intense flash of lightning and a louder Jing Lei.
Outside, the hurriedly arriving Magic Midwife and Magic Physician were stunned by this sudden phenomenon. They stopped in their tracks, too frightened to move forward.
"What... what is happening?" the Magic Midwife asked with a trembling voice, her face filled with fear.
The expression on the Magic Physician's face was equally grim; he furrowed his brow tightly, his eyes filled with confusion and unease.
"Could it be... could it be..." Before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by an even stronger flash of lightning.
The lightning struck like a sword, cleaving through the night sky and directly hitting the highest tower of Magic Castle.
"Boom—"
The tower collapsed with a deafening roar.
The entire Magic Castle was thrown into chaos.
"Hurry! Go see what happened!" Leonard's voice echoed from afar, tinged with panic.
Yet no one dared to move.
Everyone was terrified by the sudden phenomenon, frozen in place, trembling with fear.
In the room, Qin Si carefully cradled a swaddled infant, her face filled with joy and excitement.
"Congratulations, Madam, you have given birth to a young master!" Qin Si's voice trembled as tears sparkled in her eyes.
Aelia lay weakly on the bed, yet her face bore a blissful smile.
She reached out her hand, gently caressing the baby in the swaddle, her gaze filled with affection.
"My child..." Aelia whispered softly, her voice brimming with tenderness.
However, at that moment, the baby suddenly opened his eyes.
What kind of eyes were they!
Deep, mysterious, filled with wisdom and power.
Those eyes sparkled with an unusual light, as if holding the secrets of the entire universe.
The corners of the baby's mouth curled up slightly, revealing a mysterious smile.
"Mother..." the baby said in a tender voice, laced with a hint of playfulness.
Qin Si's hand shook in shock, nearly dropping the child.
She widened her eyes, unable to believe what she had just heard.
"You... you..." Qin Si stammered, unable to articulate her thoughts as terror washed over her face.
Aelia was also stunned, unable to believe her ears.
"What... what did you say?" Aelia asked, her voice trembling.
The baby did not respond, merely gazing silently at Aelia with deep, complex emotions reflected in those profound eyes.
“Mother, we will meet again soon…” the baby spoke once more, his voice growing softer until it faded away completely.
Then, the baby closed his eyes and fell back into a deep slumber.
The room was enveloped in silence, with only the sound of Aelia and Qin Si's breathing clearly audible.
“What… what is happening?” Aelia murmured to herself, her heart filled with confusion and unease.
A painful groan escaped her lips, echoing like a trapped beast's low roar.
Her fingers clutched the bedsheet tightly, her knuckles turning pale.
Sweat soaked her hair, sticking to her forehead.
Luna could sense the surging magic elements within Mother, chaotic and disordered, like a flock of startled birds flapping wildly.
Suddenly, a blinding white light erupted from Aelia's abdomen, illuminating the entire room and nearly blinding Luna.
In the next moment, a loud cry shattered the stillness of the room.
At the same time, a thick bolt of lightning tore through the night sky, accompanied by a deafening thunderclap that struck directly at the ancient magic tree in the center of the Magic Castle Garden.
“Boom!”
A tremendous explosion followed, flames shooting into the sky.
Luna's heart tightened as an ominous premonition washed over her.
This lightning and thunder were far too unusual.
The room descended into chaos.
A startled cry escaped the Magical Midwife's lips, nearly causing her to drop the newborn baby onto the floor.
Qin Si's face turned pale with fear as he hurriedly wrapped the infant securely.
"Fire! Fire!"
Panic-stricken shouts echoed from outside, mixed with the crackling sounds of flames.
Lucius rushed to the window, his expression grave as he gazed at the Magical Ancient Tree in the garden engulfed in flames. "The fire is too intense; we must extinguish it quickly!"
He turned and shouted at the guards stationed at the door, "Go notify the Magic Guard Team immediately!"
The guards dashed out, and soon, the Magic Guard Team from Magic Castle arrived on the scene, beginning their frantic efforts to put out the fire.
They waved their wands, summoning Water Dragons and ice spikes to combat the flames with all their might.
The baby's loud cries resonated throughout Magic Castle, as if announcing its arrival to the world.
Strangely, with each wail from the infant, the rolling clouds in the sky gradually dispersed, allowing beams of golden sunlight to pierce through and bathe the earth below.
The once pitch-black Magic Castle was suddenly enveloped in light.
Both the Magical Midwife and the physician stood frozen in astonishment.
They had never witnessed such an extraordinary celestial phenomenon before.
One moment there had been thunder and lightning; in the next, sunlight flooded in as if a miracle had descended.
"This... this child..." the Magical Midwife murmured.
The physician, equally astonished, reached out to check Aelia's pulse and examined the baby’s body. After confirming that both mother and son were safe, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. "It truly is a miracle! Both Madam and young master are unharmed!"
The atmosphere in the room instantly relaxed, and joyful smiles spread across everyone's faces.
Eldest Brother, Second Brother, and Brother San also rushed over to look at their newly born sibling.
"What a lovely child!" Eldest Brother said gently, his eyes sparkling with affection.
"Indeed, I hope he grows up healthy!" Second Brother echoed.
Brother San, filled with excitement, leaned closer to the baby, curiously examining this new life. "I wonder what kind of Magical Talent he will have?"
Leonard walked over to Luna, noticing her dirty little face, and said with concern, "Luna, you’ve worked hard. Come on, Daddy will take you to wash up."
Luna nodded and allowed Leonard to lead her toward the bathroom.
Qin Si was busy taking care of Aelia, helping her clean up and change into fresh clothes.
Aelia was carried to the adjacent room to rest, while Qin Si brought in a bowl of steaming magical nutritional meal.
Leonard took the bowl and personally fed Aelia.
Lucius leaned over the cradle, curiously observing the sleeping baby.
"Little One, I will be your big brother from now on!" Lucius whispered, a faint smile appearing on his lips.
In the garden, the Magic Guard Team finally extinguished the fire.
The Magical Ancient Tree struck by lightning was left with only a charred trunk.
However, at the center of the trunk, there was a piece of wood shimmering with an unusual light, emanating powerful Magical Energy.
"This is... Thunderbolt Magic Wood!" one of the magic guards exclaimed.
"Quick, bring that wood back!" the captain ordered immediately.
The guards carefully removed the Thunderbolt Magic Wood and brought it back to the Magic Castle.
In the room, Aelia leaned against the bed, watching Leonard.
“Leonard…” Aelia called softly.
Leonard looked up at Aelia and gently asked, “What’s wrong, my dear?”
Aelia hesitated, ultimately shaking her head. “It’s nothing…”
Leonard set the empty bowl aside and stood up, turning to the Magic Physician. “Let’s step outside for a moment.”
He led the Magic Physician to a corner of the room, lowering his voice with a hint of urgency. “Master Jeffrey, could you help me procure some more valuable magical restorative potions for my wife? Money is not an issue.” He paused, rubbing his hands together, his eyes flickering. “Preferably something that can help her recover quickly and make it less likely for her to… become pregnant again.”
Master Jeffrey stroked his long white beard, a glint of shrewdness flashing in his murky eyes.
He gave Leonard a meaningful look, and an unspoken tension filled the air.
“The Lord of the Fortress is truly considerate,” he said in a low voice that echoed in the corner of the room. “As for the prescription…”
Leonard immediately understood, pulling out a heavy pouch of gold coins from his pocket and placing it into Master Jeffrey’s hands.
The coins clinked sharply against each other, their sound piercing through the silence of the room.
Master Jeffrey weighed the coins in his hand, a barely perceptible smile appearing on his lips. “Rest assured, Lord of the Fortress, I will do my utmost.” He retrieved an ancient wooden box from his medicine chest and opened it, releasing a strange fragrance into the air.
He took out several dried herbs and handed them to Leonard. “These ingredients are extremely precious; all you need to…”
