The air in the Magic Castle seemed to have solidified.
Luna's big, sparkling eyes now glimmered with a cunningness that belied her age.
She chirped and babbled, her small hands restlessly tugging at Aelia's skirt, her chubby little face filled with an expression that screamed, "I know, I know."
She wanted this poor woman, who was kept in the dark, to see her husband's true colors!
Aelia had been trying to suppress the sadness of bidding farewell to Lucius, feeling an emptiness within her.
But Luna's antics were like a small stone thrown into her calm lake, creating ripples of disturbance.
"Luna, what are you saying? What do you know?" Aelia's voice trembled as she leaned down, gazing into Luna's eyes, hoping to find answers there.
Of course, Luna couldn't really "say" anything; she only babbled more energetically, pointing deeper into the Magic Castle and then towards the places Leonard often visited.
She even mimicked the sound of Ailiya's laughter. Though it came out muffled and unclear, it was enough to plant seeds of doubt in Aelia's mind.
Qin Si watched from the side, bewildered. Unable to hold back, she said, "Madam, Young Miss might just be playing around. She's just a child; how could she understand anything?"
"No, Qin Si, you don't understand." Aelia shook her head. She knew Luna well; this little one, despite her young age, was unusually wise.
Every move she made seemed to carry a purpose.
Could it be… could Leonard really be hiding something from her?
Once this thought took root, it grew wildly in Aelia's heart like a weed.
She couldn't help but recall Leonard's recent strange behavior—he was always leaving early and returning late, looking exhausted, and showing less concern for her.

The butler broke into a sweat, stammering and unable to articulate a response.
Aelia's sharp gaze seemed to pierce through him.
"Speak the truth!" she raised her voice by an octave, infused with an undeniable authority.
The butler could no longer bear the pressure and fell to his knees with a thud. "Madam, please spare me! The master... the master has been out with a woman lately. That woman is staying at Outskirts Manor..."
Aelia felt as if a thunderbolt had struck her, shattering all her fantasies into pieces.
So it was all true!
The man she had loved for so many years, the partner she thought she would spend her life with, had betrayed her!
Years of affection had turned into a cruel joke.
She felt like a fool, kept in the dark while foolishly giving everything for him.
"Leonard! How dare you betray me!" Aelia let out a desperate scream, her voice filled with pain and anger.
She could no longer control her emotions; tears streamed down her face, falling like rain.
Luna watched Aelia's breakdown without an ounce of guilt in her heart.
She knew that enduring prolonged pain was worse than a swift one. The sooner Aelia saw Leonard's true colors, the sooner she could escape her tragic destiny.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the Magic Castle, the eldest brother sat in his wheelchair, gazing forlornly out the window.
Once, he was a promising Mage, but due to an unfortunate incident of Magic Backlash, he became disabled in his Twin Legs, and his magical abilities diminished significantly.
He felt like a useless person, helplessly watching as his Brothers surpassed him one by one.
Suddenly, he felt a warm power surge into his body.
He looked up in surprise to see Luna standing in front of him, her small hand gently stroking his legs.
“Yi Ya, Yi Ya…” Luna smiled at her elder brother, her smile pure and warm, as if it could dispel all shadows.
Then, he felt a tingling sensation coming from his legs.
He looked down and was astonished to find that he could move them!
Though it was just a slight tremor, it filled him with overwhelming joy.
“I… my legs…” His voice trembled with disbelief.
This little infant possessed such powerful strength that she could lift the curse from him!
Hope ignited in his eyes.
Perhaps he still had a chance to stand up again and become a powerful Mage once more!
The situation of the Second Brother was not much better.
He fell into a complex Magic Dilemma due to his blind trust in a close friend, which led to a stagnation in his magical abilities.

Aelia stared at the letter, her heart feeling as if it were being torn apart.
“Leonard! You coward!” she cried out in anguish, tearing the letter to shreds.
Just then, hurried footsteps approached from outside.
“Mother, what happened?”
It was her brother, Lucas. He looked at Aelia with confusion, unaware of what had transpired.
Aelia lifted her head, her eyes filled with hatred as she coldly said, “Lucas, your father… he betrayed me!”
Lucas froze in place at her words.
“What did you say?!”
He couldn’t believe his ears. How could Father do something like this?
“It's true!” Aelia's voice was filled with despair.
“He not only betrayed me, but he also abandoned us! He... he ran away with a woman!”
Lucas felt his head buzzing; he could not accept this reality.
His father, the man who had always been known for his integrity and responsibility, could actually do something so despicable!
“This can't be... this can't be...” Lucas murmured to himself, unwilling to believe it was true.
“It is true!” Aelia emphasized again, her voice filled with pain and anger.
“He doesn't deserve to be our father! From today on, I will act as if he doesn't exist!”
With that, Aelia turned and left the study, leaving Lucas standing alone in place, his face pale and his body swaying unsteadily.

Qin Si's words were like a ray of light, illuminating the darkness in Aelia's heart.
