After landing from his shot attempt, A Fei was also nudged down by Pei Xinliang’s momentum and sat on the floor as the ball arced beautifully through the air toward the basket—111-108! We regained our lead with just two minutes and forty seconds remaining.
After their serve, Chu Yuetao slowly moved toward our front court before passing to Jia Yu who penetrated toward the basket. Taking advantage of this moment, Chu Yuetao ran left asking for the ball; Jia Yu understood perfectly and passed it out to him just as I rushed in for an interception. Seeing me coming over, Chu Yuetao charged forward too; we collided but I managed to secure possession of the ball in my arms despite both of us being knocked back slightly from impact. I tossed it out to Ouyang who attempted a corner three-pointer but missed! Li Kanglin grabbed the rebound but was blocked by Land Route on his second attempt at a layup; after bouncing off him again A Fei picked it up quickly before stepping back for a jump shot—finally scoring! 111-108! With two minutes and three seconds left in playtime, A Fei scored five crucial points in this critical moment extending our lead once more.
After their serve once more, Chu Yuetao crossed mid-court before suddenly charging into our paint like madman! As I defended near underbasket jumping up for a block attempt against him—Chu Yuetao unexpectedly maneuvered under me after circling around before attempting another layup which bounced twice off rim without going in! Unable to dodge in time as he collided into me—the referee blew his whistle calling me for blocking foul giving Chu Yuetao two free throw opportunities instead! Squatting down tightly closing his eyes taking deep breaths before stepping up to shoot—he cleanly made both free throws: 111-110—the gap narrowed back down to just one point! This time neither coach called for timeout as after receiving inbound pass—I dashed straight towards frontcourt executing quick turnaround jump shot scoring again: 115-110! With just over one minute left in playtime—we had extended our lead back up by five points!
