As Jiang Chen drew water, he discreetly mixed in a few Body Refining Pills and quietly inscribed a healing talisman, infusing it into the water. After filling his container, he approached the group of Lamas, who were preparing to serve the Medicinal Tea from the Copper Pot.
“Masters, why not add some Snow Water that flows down from the sacred mountain? I believe that seeing these simple people tormented by illness would move the mountain’s spirit, perhaps infusing divine power into the Snow Water. A sip of this Snow Water might help alleviate their ailments,” Jiang Chen suggested with a smile.
The Lamas paused for a moment, looking at Jiang Chen. His reasonable request left them with no choice but to nod in agreement.
“Just a little, though; this Snow Water is quite cold and could be harmful to health in large quantities,” one of the Lamas advised.
Jiang Chen smiled again as he poured some Snow Water from his flask into several Copper Pots before returning the flask to the elder. The Lamas began serving Medicinal Tea to the hundreds of pilgrims. Since there weren’t enough bowls, each person drank from the same bowl in turn. The Tibetan people showed no disdain; they revered the Lamas’ offerings as if they were Divine Medicine, unwilling to waste even a drop.
Qian Wenwu and his companions had witnessed Jiang Chen’s actions but paid little attention, instead mocking him.
“That kid is really amusing; he talks so grandly about healing just by adding some Snow Water. What do we need doctors for then?” Chen Shuifeng chuckled.
“He probably thinks those patients aren’t sick enough and wants to stir things up with some Snow Water. Can you believe those Lamas actually listened to his nonsense? This Snow Water can’t be consumed without boiling it first,” Qian Wenwu scoffed.
However, just after they finished ridiculing Jiang Chen, an unexpected scene unfolded before them.
Those who had consumed the Medicinal Tea suddenly became restless, their faces glowing with vitality. Even those who had been gravely ill and weak stood up in astonishment, seemingly unaware of how they suddenly felt invigorated.
The cancer patient who had been on the brink of death just moments ago stood up in front of everyone, his face devoid of pain and instead radiating satisfaction and comfort, resembling someone enjoying a soak in a hot spring.
This spectacle left not only Qian Wenwu and Chen Shuifeng astonished but even the Lamas serving the Medicinal Tea were taken aback. When did their Medicinal Tea become so remarkably effective?
Yet they quickly resumed their duties, moving on until they reached Jiang Chen. Naturally, he did not partake; he found it hard to accept drinking from a bowl that so many others had used. However, the elder beside him was unreserved and shared a small bowl with his grandson.
“Hmm, this Medicinal Tea tastes strange today,” the elder murmured after finishing his drink.
“Grandpa, this water is so bitter,” the grandson said with a grimace.
“But I feel so comfortable! Grandpa, it feels like something is moving inside me; it’s so itchy!” the boy exclaimed.
“This Medicinal Tea can heal you, little one. Just bear with it for a bit longer; your illness will improve,” Jiang Chen said gently.
The little guy was strong; upon hearing that his illness could be cured, he immediately fell silent.
About ten minutes later, although he was sweating profusely, his complexion began to brighten.
