Under the gray, overcast sky, the light rain fell like needles, gently piercing the scarred earth. The battlefield lay in silence, broken only by the metallic scraping sounds of a recovery robot and the occasional distant crackle of lingering fires, shattering the oppressive stillness. 0

This recovery robot stood about half a human height, its metal shell covered in blood and mud, its once shiny surface now dull and lifeless. Its limbs were short yet agile and strong, with a camera device on its head that occasionally rotated to survey the surrounding wreckage. The robot gradually approached the fallen Destroyer Mech, a massive machine that had once been a pride of Iron Dome but had now become scrap metal on this battlefield. 0

The Destroyer's shell was pockmarked from explosions, and heavy armored plates peeled away like shed scales. One of its giant arms lay broken a few meters away, exposing twisted hydraulic lines and charred electronic components. The cockpit was utterly destroyed; the hatch was warped and deformed, with blood seeping from the gaps as rainwater flowed down, staining the puddles on the ground. 0

The small robot activated its mechanical arm, and tiny claws began to dismantle important components from the Destroyer's wreckage. It carefully removed the energy core module from the mech and swiftly stored it in its recovery compartment. These components were precious resources for Iron Dome; even after losing a Destroyer Mech in this war, Iron Dome was unwilling to abandon any recoverable technology or materials. 0

As the rain continued to fall, the small robot worked tirelessly, exuding an unusual sense of determination. Within its simple artificial intelligence system, a program repeatedly executed: "Asset recovery is of utmost priority; essential components of the Destroyer must be fully recovered." 0

However, within the monotony of its programming, another kind of emotional fluctuation seemed to emerge. It paused briefly before extending a tiny mechanical claw toward the cockpit as if searching for something. When it touched a bloodstained fragment of Driver Armor, its movements suddenly halted. 0

Was it a glitch in its programming or the budding of an emotion it should not possess? The robot's camera flickered slightly, as if contemplating or mourning. Then it lowered itself, picked up the piece of armor carefully, placed it in its storage compartment, and turned back to continue its recovery work as if the earlier pause had never occurred. 0

The small robot operated silently, its goal clear and singular: to recover the core chip of the Destroyer. This tiny device contained decades of technological essence from Iron Dome and was a key asset that could not fall into enemy hands under any circumstances. If the core chip were stolen, Iron Dome's mech technology could face an irreparable disaster. 0

The robot's mechanical arm deftly maneuvered through the twisted armored gaps of the Destroyer, delving deep into its interior. Wires pierced by bullets still flickered with weak electrical sparks; currents occasionally surged forth with sharp hissing sounds. It swiftly peeled away burnt cables with its sharp claws, a pungent smell of char mingling with rain wafting towards it. As cables were stripped away, bright sparks erupted violently from within, scorching the robot's exterior and leaving several charred marks. 0

Yet the robot did not stop; its system did not recognize "pain," only assessing whether its mission was completed or not. Its claws plunged once more into the depths of the wreckage until they finally reached the protective chamber of the core chip. The chamber was severely deformed, but the chip appeared intact. The robot’s other mechanical arm quickly opened the protective casing and securely grasped the core chip before storing it in a safety compartment within its chest—the most fortified part of its interior designed specifically for critical recoveries. 0

Just as it prepared to continue dismantling other important components, faint footsteps echoed in the distance. The sound was soft but alarmingly clear in the dead silence of the battlefield. The small robot immediately activated alert mode; a small observation device extended from its back to begin scanning rapidly around it. The camera on this device moved like a snake, inspecting every potential hiding spot for life. 0

Logically speaking, there should be no living person left on this shattered battlefield aside from countless corpses and mech wreckage. However, as soon as it switched to infrared scanning mode, a vague red outline appeared on screen about three hundred meters away—someone was approaching. 0

The robot swiftly analyzed the approaching individual's speed and trajectory, attempting to assess the threat level. The figure's steps were steady, and the pace was not hurried; it seemed to be heading directly toward this location rather than wandering aimlessly. The system's database returned no matching enemy identification signals, prompting the small robot to act with increased caution. 0

The small robot halted its recovery operations and withdrew into the shadow of a piece of mech debris. Its observation device continued to silently lock onto the approaching figure while a small self-destruct program activated internally—if the core chip faced the risk of being captured, it would not hesitate to destroy itself along with the chip, ensuring it did not fall into enemy hands. 0

The observation device continued its function, initially focused on the infrared silhouette approaching from the southeast, but suddenly detected another target in a different direction. This time, the system quickly identified the individual. The detection apparatus indicated that this newcomer emitted a distinct signal marked with the Iron Dome Warrior emblem. The observation device immediately switched back to standard visual mode, beginning a detailed examination of the man's appearance and equipment. 0

The man was clad in semi-mechanical battle armor, his tall and robust figure standing amidst the rain. His metallic prosthetics glimmered ominously under flashes of lightning, resembling a perfect work of art forged for slaughter. Data from the system's database rapidly matched, ultimately revealing an awe-inspiring name: Ezel Moran, known as "The Terminator," a Cyber Samurai awarded by the Iron Dome Council. 0

Over half of Ezel's body had been replaced with prosthetics. His reinforced chest and lungs allowed him to remain unscathed in extreme environments such as toxic gas or oxygen deprivation; enhanced tendons and leg prosthetics granted him astonishing explosive power and speed; mechanical structures in his shoulders and wrists enabled him to wield heavy weapons as if they were toys; while advanced visual modules and brain processors endowed him with unimaginable battlefield prediction capabilities. 0

Most terrifying was his possession of the unique "Overload Function" of Iron Dome. This technology allowed his prosthetics to operate at their limits for short periods, trading off for devastating power and speed. Once activated, he would become a storm in motion, obliterating any enemies that stood in his way. 0

The small robot's lens flickered momentarily as its internal processor computed data, suddenly conjuring concepts that could not be explained by numbers: happiness and joy. Its entire frame trembled slightly, as if caught in a state of near "excitement." This was not a programming error but rather an almost religious reverence for the powerful technology of its homeland, Iron Dome. A primitive yet pure sense of patriotism blossomed within this small robot's system, leaving it somewhat overwhelmed. 0

However, the robot's observation device soon captured a line of orderly troops advancing behind the Terminator. This iron tide composed of samurai and armored infantry silently traversed the ravaged battlefield, rain hammering against their solid metal armor as if heralding Iron Dome's resurgence. 0

The small robot quickly analyzed that the scale of the army and the Terminator's leadership undoubtedly indicated that Iron Dome had decided not merely to recover assets but to reclaim control over this battlefield. 0
