The grandfather's gaze was cold and unfamiliar as he looked at Lin Xia and said, "You finally arrived. We have been waiting for this day for a long time." Lin Xia stepped back in terror and asked, "What do you want from me?" The grandfather did not answer her question; instead, he waved his hand, and the men in black began to surround her.
Lin Xia turned to flee, but found her body moving uncontrollably deeper into the old house. Her mind resisted, but it felt as if some force was controlling her movements. She was led to the basement, which was just as eerie and terrifying as it had been the night before. The grandfather approached an altar and began to chant strange incantations. As his voice echoed, the candles on the altar ignited automatically, their flames taking on an eerie green hue.
Lin Xia watched in horror as realization dawned on her; the letter from her grandfather had been a trap designed to lure her into this old house to become a sacrifice for their wicked ritual. She struggled desperately to break free from the control, but it was all in vain. Just then, a crack suddenly appeared in the basement wall, and a chilling roar emanated from within, as if something terrifying was about to emerge.
The grandfather's expression grew serious as he quickened his chanting. As the crack widened, a plume of black smoke surged forth, revealing a pair of enormous red eyes within the haze. Lin Xia felt a powerful evil force surging inside her; she knew that if she didn't find a way out soon, she would be consumed by it.
In this life-and-death moment, Lin Xia suddenly recalled an ancient legend mentioned in her grandfather's diary. It was said that if one could find the hidden "Light Stone" within the old house, they could dispel the evil and break this horrifying ritual. Gritting her teeth against her fear, she began searching the basement. Meanwhile, the men in black had completely surrounded her, and her grandfather's incantations grew more frantic as the creature in the crack seemed ready to break free.
In a corner, Lin Xia discovered a hidden compartment. Trembling, she opened it to find a stone emitting a faint glow. The moment she picked up the stone, a brilliant light burst forth from it, illuminating the entire basement. The men in black screamed in agony under its radiance and collapsed to the ground. Her grandfather was also struck by the light and fell down, his face reflecting terror and regret.
The creature in the crack roared angrily at the light's impact and attempted to retreat back into its fissure. Lin Xia raised the "Light Stone" and walked toward the monster while reciting the dispelling incantation from her grandfather's diary. As she spoke the words, the light intensified until it completely engulfed the creature, causing the crack to vanish.
The old house returned to silence as sunlight streamed back into the basement. Lin Xia looked at the "Light Stone" in her hand with mixed emotions. She knew that this nightmare had finally come to an end. Stepping out of the basement, she hesitated for a moment before approaching her grandfather, who slowly opened his eyes and gazed at her with guilt and remorse. Weakly he said, "I'm sorry, child; I put you in danger..."
Lin Xia remained silent, merely watching him. She understood that her grandfather had also been controlled by that evil organization, which had driven him to such actions. She helped him up, and together they walked out of that house filled with terrifying memories.
As they stepped through the old house's front door, warm sunlight bathed them, sweeping away all shadows of fear. Lin Xia glanced back at the house that had once terrified her and silently vowed never to set foot there again. Together with her grandfather, she walked toward their car parked by the roadside to begin a new life. However, unbeknownst to them, in a corner of the old house, a mysterious Black Seed was quietly growing, waiting for its next unsuspecting victim...
