Su Mu cautiously followed the Woodcutter along the winding path until they finally arrived at the Woodcutter's humble yet cozy little house. Upon entering, a faint aroma of medicinal herbs filled the air, bringing a sense of tranquility and reassurance.
Turning his gaze to the bedside, Su Mu saw a young woman with delicate features lying there quietly but looking extremely haggard. Her complexion was pale as paper, devoid of any color; deep dark circles surrounded her tightly closed eyes, as if she had endured countless sleepless nights.
