The Talking Paintbrush
In the attic of Rainbow Town lived a little girl named Duo Duo, who loved to paint. She had a box of ordinary watercolor brushes, but every time she painted, she felt her creations lacked vibrancy; the flowers wouldn’t bloom, and the birds wouldn’t sing. One evening, Duo Duo discovered that the brushes were quietly having a “meeting” under the moonlight. The smallest red brush timidly spoke up, “We want to help Duo Duo create real magic, but she never dares to make bold strokes.” Duo Duo was astonished; it turned out that the brushes had their own thoughts!
The next day, Duo Duo tried to listen to the brushes’ suggestions. The blue brush said, “Let’s paint the sky in mint candy colors!” The yellow brush jumped in excitement, “The clouds should be fluffy like cotton candy!” When Duo Duo painted her first floating cloud, the paint suddenly glowed, and the cloud really floated out of the paper, gently drifting around the room.
News quickly spread throughout the town, and everyone came to Duo Duo for their wishes to be painted. She painted a flying medicine bottle for a sick kitten and a dancing bouquet for a lonely old lady. However, as she used them more often, the brushes gradually lost their luster. It turned out that each magical creation consumed the brushes’ energy.
Duo Duo took the brushes to the Paint Waterfall and filled them with natural pigments using her most sincere heart. As the brushes soaked up color again, a rainbow appeared in the sky above the town that would never fade away, and within Duo Duo’s paintings lay a magical power that could warm people’s hearts forever.
The Starry Night Delivery
In the forest lived a little squirrel named Pong Pong, who recently discovered a magical secret. Every night, when the moon rose above the treetops, a shimmering silver path appeared in the sky, leading straight to the star post office above the clouds. One night, while peeking through his pinecone telescope, Pong Pong suddenly saw a star with a bow on its head sliding down the starlit path with a glowing package on its back. It was Star Delivery Person Xiao Shan, delivering goodnight gifts to the animals below!
“I want a star gift too!” Pong Pong exclaimed as he jumped up and drew a letter on the ground with a twig. Miraculously, the letter floated up into the sky and transformed into a star mail that landed in Xiao Shan’s hands.
The next evening, Pong Pong received a glowing moon gift box. Inside were: a seed that could blow rainbow bubbles, a leaf that sang lullabies, and a star card that read “Sweet Dreams Delivered.” From then on, whenever any animal couldn’t sleep, Pong Pong would help them write letters to the star post office. Now every night in the forest was filled with sweet dreams; even owls on duty would secretly yawn!
The Secret of Cloud Bakery
On Cotton Candy Mountain lived a little sheep named Mian Mian who loved to bake. Every morning, she collected the fluffiest clouds and kneaded them with honey and strawberry jam to bake delicious cloud bread. A bite would release sweet mist into the air, and little animals lined up in long queues to buy it.
One day, Mian Mian noticed strange black smoke coming from her oven; the bread had turned hard and bitter. Just as she was worrying about it, a small cloud hiding in a flour bag timidly said, “I... I want to help you make bread!” It turned out that this little cloud had sneaked in drawn by the aroma from the oven.
Mian Mian and the little cloud began to collaborate. The little cloud did somersaults in the dough, making it as light as feathers; Mian Mian squeezed blueberry jam on top and sprinkled star-shaped sugar frosting. When golden bread came out of the oven, the entire valley was filled with rainbow-flavored aroma!
News spread quickly; even a timid little snail climbed up carrying its shell. Mian Mian taught the little cloud how to magically turn bread into balloons so they could soar through clouds together with all their animal friends. Now Cotton Candy Mountain not only had the tastiest bread but also offered an extraordinary journey floating among clouds!
