Su Mu walked alongside the man in black, heading northward.
Throughout their journey, they braved the elements, enduring several days of hardship, until they finally arrived at the legendary Abyss of Ice and Snow.
As they came to a halt and gazed into the distance, all they could see was a vast expanse of white.
The fierce wind whipped up the blizzard, roaring like an enraged dragon as it swept toward them, blocking out the sun and making it nearly impossible to open their eyes.
The biting cold felt like countless sharp knives slicing through the air, bringing with it waves of pain that pierced their skin.
On the ground lay a thick layer of snow, resembling a pristine white blanket that tightly enveloped the earth, devoid of any hint of green life; only the endless white stretched out to the horizon.
"This is indeed the Abyss of Ice and Snow," the man in black broke the silence, his voice wavering slightly in the howling wind. "The Earth Spirit Herb grows beneath this ice and snow."
Su Mu stared at the desolate snowy landscape before him, a sense of dread rising within him.
The environment here was truly harsh; even with the immense power granted by the Heavenly Spirit Pearl, the bone-chilling cold relentlessly gnawed at his body, causing him to shiver involuntarily.
"We mustn't delay; let's move," the man in black said, turning to Su Mu with a determined gaze. "The Earth Spirit Herb lies deep within the Abyss of Ice and Snow. If we wish to find it, we must venture further."
With that, both took a deep breath and cautiously stepped forward into this mysterious and perilous abyss.
As soon as they set foot on the snow, it instantly engulfed them up to their knees; every step forward required immense effort.
Meanwhile, the cutting cold wind mercilessly lashed against their faces, stinging like blades.
"Be careful!" With this sudden shout, Su Mu's heart tightened, and he instinctively halted his steps.

Its eyes were wide open, revealing a fierce glint that resembled two blazing flames; its gaping maw was enormous, with sharp fangs protruding like cold blades, sending shivers down one's spine.
As its earth-shattering roar reverberated through the air, it felt as if the entire valley trembled in response.
Faced with such a ferocious foe, Su Mu and the man in black beside him dared not show any signs of hesitation. They quickly reacted, adopting a defensive stance.
The man in black suddenly swung his right hand, drawing the long sword from his waist.

As his deep and urgent chant echoed through the air, the Celestial Pearl began to emit an incredibly dazzling light.
The brilliance was as scorching and radiant as the sun, instantly illuminating the dark and cold abyss of ice and snow. The once eerie and frigid chasm now shone brightly as if it were midday.
The Snow Wolf, fiercely charging towards them, clearly did not anticipate such a turn of events. Its eerie green eyes were harshly stimulated by this sudden burst of light, causing its body to pause involuntarily, halting its originally fierce assault.
However, Su Mu would not let this fleeting opportunity slip away!
Taking advantage of the snow wolf's brief moment of distraction, he suddenly waved his hands, concentrating the brilliant light emitted by the Heavenly Mechanism Pearl directly onto the snow wolf's fearsome eyes.
A piercing howl of pain erupted from the snow wolf, echoing through the sky, deafening and seemingly attempting to break free from the constraints of the icy world around it.
Blinded by the intense light, the snow wolf could only close its eyes tightly, unable to open them. It wildly flailed its sharp claws, trying to find a target to attack, but to no avail.
The man in black, who had been waiting for the right moment, would not miss such a rare opportunity. A glint of cold light flashed in his eyes as his arm muscles tensed. Gripping his sword tightly, he struck swiftly at the snow wolf's neck.
With a muffled "thud," the sword easily sliced through the thick white fur of the snow wolf and plunged deep into its neck.
Immediately, a torrent of crimson blood gushed from the wound like a fountain, splattering everywhere and filling the air with a strong, pungent scent of blood.
The severely injured snow wolf could no longer support its massive body. After swaying a few times, it finally collapsed to the ground with a thud, sending up a flurry of snowflakes.
As its life faded away, the desperate and unwilling howl gradually disappeared into the biting cold wind.
Seeing the snow wolf fall completely still, Su Mu and the man in black finally let out a long sigh of relief. The tension that had been hanging over them finally eased. After an intense and perilous battle, this life-and-death struggle had finally come to an end.
