"What do you mean it's not related? It’s very much related! I want to buy this Golden Buddha and place it in my company for worship," Zhu Xiangyue declared loudly, his tone arrogant as he completely disregarded Jiang Chen.
Dong Mingshui felt helpless as he glanced at Jiang Chen. Seeing Jiang Chen's calm expression without any sign of agitation, he knew that Jiang Chen was definitely not as tranquil as he appeared.
"Get lost!"
As expected, Jiang Chen spoke up with just one word. His calm tone carried an intimidating authority that sent chills through the air.
The atmosphere around them instantly turned icy with Jiang Chen's unceremonious remark. Zhou Pingyong and others stood by, watching with great interest; the more conflicts Jiang Chen had with others, the more advantageous it was for Zhou Pingyong. "Dong Mingshui, what's wrong with you today? Are you actually afraid of this kid? We have so many people here; how can we be scared of just one?"
"Yeah, Old Dong, when did you become so timid? That's not like you at all."
"Show some of your usual bravado; we’re here to back you up! Zhu Shao is right; he wouldn’t dare act against us."
A group of sycophants chimed in, leaving Dong Mingshui speechless. It wasn't that he had turned into a frightened bird; rather, he had witnessed Jiang Chen's dominance and strength firsthand. Yet his well-meaning advice came off as cowardice, leaving him feeling extremely awkward.
"Forget it; let's pretend I never said anything. Zhu Shao, if you're determined to go down this path, I need to distance myself from you," Dong Mingshui mustered the courage to say.
"Dong Mingshui, are you out of your mind?"
"Damn it! Dong Mingshui, you're such a coward! Do you really think we haven't seen Martial Artists before? What’s there to be afraid of? With money, we can make them work for us! My bodyguard is a Martial Artist and quite skilled too."
"Have you lost your mind? You're actually going to distance yourself from Zhu Shao?"
