Ye Qiu, Su Mu, and Captain Zhao stood together with serious expressions, fully aware of the importance and urgency of their mission.
After a moment, they quickly gathered the elite forces from the police team and began to meticulously deploy the action plan for searching the secret base of the Xuanming Sect.
Based on valuable clues obtained from Li Wenxuan, the group conducted careful research and analysis, ultimately narrowing the search area to the vast mountainous region on the outskirts of Jianghai City.

Su Mu nodded slightly, indicating that he understood Ye Qiu's intent.

After a brief discussion among the three, they decisively split into two groups and sped towards the mountainous region on the outskirts of Jianghai City.

Her bright eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. “It seems that after all our hard work, we’ve finally found the secret base of the Xuanming Sect!” With that, Ye Qiu turned decisively to look at Su Mu and Captain Zhao behind her, her gaze firm and filled with confidence.
Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Ye Qiu led the way towards the valley located on the southern outskirts of the city.
Seeing this, Su Mu and Captain Zhao hurriedly quickened their pace to keep up.
Along the way, they traversed dense forests, rugged mountain paths, and thorny bushes, enduring quite a bit of hardship.
But just thinking about uncovering the mysterious veil of the Xuanming Sect reinvigorated their spirits.
After what felt like an eternity, they finally arrived breathlessly at the entrance of the valley.
Before them lay a deep and tranquil valley, resembling an isolated paradise untouched by the outside world.
The air in the valley was exceptionally fresh, infused with the fragrance of grass and earth, making one feel refreshed and invigorated.
A clear, bottom-visible stream wound its way out from the depths of the valley, its waters gurgling softly like a beautiful and melodious symphony.
Beside the stream stood an ancient banyan tree, proudly erect with a trunk so thick that it would take several people to encircle it. Its lush branches intertwined, forming a vast canopy that nearly obscured the entire sky.
"This is the place!" Ye Qiu said with certainty as she gazed at the familiar scene before her. "This must be the secret base of the Xuanming Sect!" With that, she carefully surveyed her surroundings and gestured for everyone to be cautious.
Then, Ye Qiu crouched low and stealthily led the way into the valley.
The valley was eerily quiet; aside from the occasional chirp of birds, there was not a sound to be heard, as if no one were present at all.
However, Ye Qiu maintained a high level of vigilance. She lowered her voice and warned Su Mu and Captain Zhao behind her, "Everyone must not let their guard down. The Xuanming Sect members are likely hiding in some corner nearby."
Before she could finish her sentence, a sharp, piercing sound suddenly sliced through the air. The group was startled, and before they could react, numerous hidden weapons shot out from the surrounding trees like rain, whistling toward them.
"Ambush!" Ye Qiu shouted suddenly, her voice booming like thunder in the air.
Her figure flickered like a ghost as she swiftly moved several meters away, narrowly avoiding a speeding projectile.
At the same time, Su Mu and Captain Zhao did not lag behind. They reacted with incredible speed, agilely sidestepping to evade the incoming weapons.
The sounds of "whoosh! whoosh! whoosh!" filled the air as countless hidden weapons rained down like torrential raindrops.
Some of these weapons resembled flying daggers glinting with cold light; others were like sharp arrows, cutting through the air with fierce winds.
They intertwined to form an impenetrable net that left no room for defense.
Ye Qiu, Su Mu, and Captain Zhao found themselves in a perilous situation but remained calm.
They moved gracefully through the rain of projectiles, sometimes leaping high into the air and sometimes sliding low to avoid deadly attacks with perfect timing.
However, due to the dense barrage of hidden weapons, they were unable to approach the direction from which the projectiles were being fired, and for a moment, they found themselves in a passive situation.
"It seems that the people from the Xuanming Sect are indeed extremely cunning. They anticipated our arrival and set up such a formidable ambush in advance," Ye Qiu said gravely, her expression serious as she dodged the hidden weapons while quickly devising a counter-strategy.
"What should we do now?" Captain Zhao asked anxiously, sweat covering his face.
Ye Qiu snorted coldly, a glint of determination flashing in her eyes. "Since they are hiding and dare not show themselves, we will take the initiative and force them out!" After saying this, she turned to Su Mu and Captain Zhao, continuing, "Su Mu, Captain Zhao, I will rely on you two to cover me. I need to find and destroy their hidden weapon mechanisms to break this deadlock!"
"Understood!" Su Mu and Captain Zhao replied in unison.
No sooner had they spoken than they sprang into action.
Su Mu's figure flickered like a light cloud drifting to the left, his sword dancing in a seamless flow as he knocked down the hidden weapons aimed at Ye Qiu's left side.
Meanwhile, Captain Zhao shouted loudly, charging fiercely to the right with his steel knife. The blade flashed as he shattered the incoming hidden weapons one by one.
Seeing that Su Mu and Captain Zhao were in position, Ye Qiu felt a sense of relief wash over her.
Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes, clearing her mind and focusing entirely on sensing every movement around her.
With years of experience in the martial world and keen intuition, she began to carefully search for potential hiding spots of the hidden weapon mechanisms.
Observing the surrounding trees and terrain closely, she soon discovered some telltale signs.
"So that's how it is!" Ye Qiu's lips curled into a slight smirk as she revealed a cold smile. "I've found you!"
In a flash, Ye Qiu darted to a concealed corner and struck down a hidden weapon mechanism with a powerful palm.
"Crack!"
A crisp sound echoed as the hidden traps were completely destroyed.
The projectiles that had been shooting at them suddenly ceased fire.
"Well done, Ye Qiu!" Su Mu exclaimed excitedly.
"But it's not over yet," Ye Qiu replied. "This was just the first trap; there are definitely more mechanisms around."
Ye Qiu continued to search for other hidden traps, and soon she discovered the second, then the third...
After a considerable effort, Ye Qiu managed to destroy all the hidden traps.
The valley fell silent once more.
"Now it's our turn to counterattack," Ye Qiu said coldly.
In the valley on the outskirts of Jianghai City, numerous dangers lay hidden.
How would Ye Qiu, Su Mu, and Captain Zhao respond to these threats?
