“ brother Jun, this is Shen Li, as you know her. She is now my girlfriend,” Liu Ying introduced at the right moment, appearing a bit awkward.
Jiang Chen glanced at Shen Li and smiled slightly. “That's good; you should have a girlfriend too. Alright, everyone, please take a seat.” Jiang Chen gestured for everyone to sit down.
Once settled, Jiang Chen, Wang Shun Yuan, Gao Kang, and Liu Ying exchanged pleasantries. The last time Shen Li saw Jiang Chen, she could sense Liu Ying being very polite to him. However, at that time, Shen Li thought Liu Ying was just being considerate towards a classmate, deliberately lowering himself to elevate Jiang Chen, who was struggling. She and Shang Yan even privately praised Liu Ying for his humble demeanor. But today, ever since Jiang Chen arrived, he had clearly become the center of attention; all eyes and conversations were focused on him. Shen Li wasn’t foolish; in fact, she was quite perceptive. From the words, attitudes, and glances of everyone present, she picked up on some information.
This Jiang Chen was truly not as ordinary as she had imagined.

Shen Li was puzzled but felt it inappropriate to ask directly with so many people around. She even considered finding an excuse to pull Liu Ying aside for a private conversation.
“By the way, Jiang Chen, why don’t you introduce us to this beautiful lady beside you?” Wang Shun Yuan asked with a smile.
“I’ll introduce myself. Hello everyone, I’m Lin Bingbing,” Lin Bingbing said.
“Lin Bingbing? That name sounds familiar,” someone remarked.
“Where have I heard that before? Don’t you all feel the same?”
“Lin Bingbing! She was really popular a few years ago and acted in many dramas. I haven’t seen any news about her lately.”
As Lin Bingbing’s name came up, everyone began to chatter excitedly until Liu Ying finally connected the dots.
“You... you can’t be the Lin Bingbing?” Liu Ying asked in disbelief.
Lin Bingbing nodded and suddenly realized she had forgotten to take off her mask. She quickly removed both her mask and cap.
“What’s wrong?” Lin Bingbing asked as she noticed everyone staring at her in shock, feeling a bit embarrassed and confused.
“You’re much more beautiful than on TV or in photos! Oh my gosh, you’re like a fairy come down to earth,” Huang Lin exclaimed in surprise.
Wang Shun Yuan, Gao Kang, and Liu Ying snapped back to reality, trying to compose themselves. Their astonishment stemmed from Lin Bingbing’s beauty rather than her association with Jiang Chen.
“With such compliments, I’m getting shy! I can’t compare myself to a fairy,” Lin Bingbing said with an embarrassed smile.
“Didn’t you see our shocked expressions earlier? It wasn’t because you’re with Jiang Chen; it’s because of your beauty! Even I’m moved seeing you as a woman,” Huang Lin laughed.
Though Lin Bingbing felt shy, her heart swelled with joy upon hearing those words. Moreover, it was fitting for Huang Lin to say such things; the boys like Wang Shun Yuan wouldn’t have been able to express it as freely.
After some lighthearted banter, everyone gradually stopped focusing on Lin Bingbing as a big star. She blended in well and joined in the laughter and conversation with everyone.
At that moment, Shen Li found herself at a loss for words. It felt as though an invisible barrier had placed her outside of the conversation.
Noticing Shen Li's embarrassment and the doubt in her eyes, Liu Ying felt a pang of sympathy. She stood up and said to Jiang Chen, "Brother Jun, let's go to the restroom."
Understanding that Liu Ying had something to discuss, Jiang Chen followed her to the restroom.
"Is there something on your mind?" Jiang Chen asked as they stood in front of the sink.
