"Boss, are we really going to drink this?" Looking at the bowl of beast blood in front of him, he had asked this question many times over the past month. He was very reluctant to drink beast blood, but the Boss said it could replenish some moisture, which was indeed true. However, the taste of beast blood was terrible; it was all due to the fact that these Demon Beasts lived in the Lava Sea, and their blood was scalding hot, tasting like drinking lava.
"Hurry up and drink it; otherwise, that little bit of moisture will evaporate," Mo Wen said, glancing sideways at Xiao Hei, who had yet to finish his bowl. Having finished his own portion, Mo Wen felt a significant improvement in his control over Law due to the lack of water. During this time, he had managed to generate enough water through the effects of Law and the interactions of the five elements to barely maintain his hydration balance. However, this water could not be extracted from within his body. To share in the hardship, he could only accompany Xiao Hei in drinking beast blood. The rich essence of fire contained in the beast blood was beneficial for Xiao Hei, but he was very resistant to it; indeed, the taste was quite unpleasant.
"I, the Divine Beast, swear this is the last bowl! I must find a water source; I want to eat hot pot!" After shouting this, he gulped down the beast blood in one go and let out a burp, a flame shooting up from his throat.

"Boss! There's water! I can smell it!" Xiao Hei suddenly jumped up from where he had been lying listlessly on the deck. In fact, Mo Wen had noticed it too; after being in the Lava Sea for so long, he had become particularly sensitive to the scent of water.
"Be careful; let's go check it out." After their previous encounter with the Lava Spirit's trap, Mo Wen was cautious. However, that scent of water felt very real. Not far ahead, the lava began to cool and solidify, forming floating slabs of stone on its surface.
Navigating the boat between rocky islands, they noticed an increasing number of Demon Beasts around them. Mo Wen's heart raced; although these Demon Beasts were not particularly strong individually, their sheer numbers were overwhelming. Even if he were powerful, he couldn't withstand so many at once. Fortunately, these Demon Beasts showed no intention of attacking them; they simply swam through the lava in their direction. Xiao Hei squatted silently at the bow of the boat, lost in thought.
Ahead appeared a large island. From the boat, they could only glimpse its edge and could not ascertain its full size. It seemed likely that it was a small landmass. The lava on the island had already solidified, and the surrounding temperature had dropped significantly. Cracks in the rocks emitted faint red glows.
"Boss, this time I’m sure! I just communicated with those Demon Beasts; they are heading towards a water source on the island," Xiao Hei exclaimed as he jumped off the boat and headed towards the island.
"Oh? They actually agreed to communicate with you this time?" Mo Wen was surprised; previously, Xiao Hei's attempts at communication had always ended in failure.
"It's because there's a powerful deity on the island that prohibits fighting near it; otherwise, you would be taken by the deity." Perhaps relieved from fear of being eaten, Xiao Hei walked with an air of arrogance.
"A deity?! What kind of deity?" Hearing about such a powerful presence made Mo Wen even more anxious; however, so far he hadn’t sensed any formidable aura.
"They don’t know either; no one has ever seen what a deity looks like. Even when battles occur and participants are taken away, no one has seen what a deity looks like—all those involved seem to disappear in an instant." Since he wouldn’t be participating in any battles himself, Xiao Hei regarded the deities mentioned by those Demon Beasts with indifference.
