Cao Ming accompanied Luo Yu back to school to meet with their classmates. The main destination for their graduation trip was Qian Lake, with over thirty participants. When they arrived at the school gate square, they couldn't help but put on a show of reluctance to part ways. Zhang Liang and others came over to tease them, playfully trying to break them apart. With a smile, Cao Ming said goodbye to Luo Yu and headed home.
The itinerary for the trip was arranged by a travel agency, and Zhang Liang was responsible for negotiating with them. It was a small agency that mostly handled youth groups or pilgrimage tours, which made their prices affordable—exactly why Zhang Liang chose them.
Zhang Liang dealt with a Miss Xin, whose business card identified her as "Business Manager Xin Meifeng." However, Zhang Liang knew she was actually the owner. He pressed her hard on the budget, hoping to secure an ideal price.
Miss Xin was no ordinary salesperson; although she was in her thirties, she was quite attractive and always dressed in fashionable attire. Every time Zhang Liang visited her office to discuss the itinerary, she would mix business with flirtation, giggling and playfully teasing him while occasionally touching his hand or knee. As a mere student, Zhang Liang found it difficult to withstand her charms. On one occasion, she leaned over to pour him tea, and he caught a glimpse of her cleavage, supported by a half-cup bra that accentuated her curves, leaving him dizzy and overwhelmed.
Fortunately, after several discussions, despite Miss Xin's formidable skills and business acumen, she managed to create a satisfactory itinerary and price for Zhang Liang. They became quite familiar with each other.
Summer vacation is peak season for domestic tourism, and during this period, the agency took on six or seven cases at once. Initially, Miss Xin's husband was supposed to lead their group as the tour guide. However, when another case from the East Coast came up requiring his attention, all other guides were already assigned elsewhere. Miss Xin thought it would be better for her to lead this student group herself.
The travel agency was co-owned by her husband and brother-in-law. In a small business like theirs, everyone had to pitch in. Her brother-in-law was busy leading another group of five hundred elementary school students southward while his wife took another group to Qian Lake that had already departed a day earlier. Since Miss Xin usually handled business dealings and had the least experience in leading tours, it made sense for her to take on the smallest group.
When Miss Xin arrived at the school gate with the tour bus, it surprised Zhang Liang. Upon learning that she would be leading their group, he felt quite pleased; having a beautiful woman around was certainly better than being accompanied by men. He gathered a few of the event organizers to discuss some important details with Miss Xin.
They would fly across the sea and stay at Qian Lake for four days and three nights before returning by boat to Yang City and then taking a tour bus to visit several amusement parks along the way before disbanding back in Ningzhou.
Once everyone had gathered, they boarded the tour bus to Lin Gong Airport for their flight. After waiting and boarding, they enjoyed a fifty-minute flight that landed at Jikou Airport around noon. Miss Xin had already arranged for two minibuses to pick them up directly to their hotel. After checking into their rooms and dropping off their luggage, they headed across the street for lunch.
The afternoon itinerary included accessible seaside attractions under the blazing sun. Everyone dressed casually in T-shirts, shorts, and wide-brimmed hats; only Miss Xin stood out in her stylish attire—a fitted tank top and a flared mini skirt—holding a delicate floral parasol as she led everyone along while introducing them to the culture, scenery, and historical sites along the way.
