Zhang Liang and Miss Xin stood under the shade of a tree, chatting away as they gazed at the shimmering sea. Their conversation was light and playful, a stark contrast to the serious discussions they had in the office. The relaxed atmosphere of their outing brought them closer together.
Zhang Liang glanced at her bare shoulder and asked, "Aren't you afraid of getting tanned?" He reached out and lightly touched her shoulder, prompting Miss Xin to respond, "Of course I am! It hurts so much when I get sunburned."
"Really? Let me see," Zhang Liang seized the opportunity to explore her shoulder with his fingers.
Miss Xin, maintaining her flirtatious demeanor, giggled and playfully returned the gesture, teasing him, "I've heard that old cows eat tender grass, but I’ve never heard of tender grass eating old cows."
Her teasing left Zhang Liang feeling quite embarrassed. Although Miss Xin was older than him and already married, her beauty was undeniable. Zhang Liang knew that her flirtation was somewhat mischievous; he felt it was harmless to engage in a little playful touching since they were alone and no one was watching. After all, he thought, why not enjoy a little fun?
Miss Xin had styled her hair elegantly and perched a pair of sunglasses atop her head. Her eyebrows were finely shaped, and she wore subtle eye shadow that accentuated her long lashes. Her straight nose and round earrings swayed gently as she moved. Her lips were particularly captivating—full and painted a vibrant orange-red that made them look luscious. With an oval face, fair neck, and a fitted orange top that ended just above her navel, she showcased her slender waist. Though her chest was modest, it was firm and well-shaped. The short skirt billowed in the breeze, revealing her long, smooth legs adorned with white sandals that looked fresh and inviting.
Unable to help himself, Zhang Liang complimented her beauty. Miss Xin beamed at the praise but playfully insisted he was just flattering her. Zhang Liang swore he was being sincere, which led Miss Xin to jokingly suggest she could be his girlfriend. In a moment of playful spontaneity, Zhang Liang took her hand and draped it over his arm. Miss Xin leaned against his shoulder in jest, and they both laughed.
Zhang Liang took it a step further, suggesting that if they were going to act like a couple, they should be more affectionate. He leaned in as if to kiss Miss Xin. She laughed and dodged him playfully. Zhang Liang then offered to let her kiss him instead. Having seen many such antics before, Miss Xin brushed it off casually and agreed. As she leaned in with the intention of just giving him a light tap on the cheek with her finger—something she often did to amuse older gentlemen—Zhang Liang unexpectedly turned his head and planted a firm kiss on her lips while wrapping his arms around her waist.
Caught off guard by his boldness, Miss Xin struggled to break free from his embrace. Though she pretended to be annoyed, she couldn't help but feel flustered by the boy's strength. Her cheeks flushed as thoughts raced through her mind: “This boy is surprisingly strong… Oh no! What am I thinking?”
Feigning anger, she pushed Zhang Liang away, but he quickly pulled her back into his arms with sweet words of reassurance until she couldn’t help but laugh again. “Hey there, handsome! Don’t do that,” she playfully chided.
Zhang Liang released his hold on her but they remained close together. The sea breeze picked up, lifting the hem of Miss Xin’s short skirt; with her fair thighs exposed, Zhang Liang’s imagination began to wander as he watched the fabric flutter in the wind.
