"Boss, she's coming to kill you. What should we do?" Xiao Hei lay lazily in the spring water, looking thoroughly relaxed.
"Then I'll just wait for her to come kill me, but first I need to enjoy myself a bit," Mo Wen said as he jumped naked into his own pool. "Ah, soaking in the bath while timing it, every second of comfort counts!" Zhu Xiaohong's furious shouts echoed through the cave and reached Mo Wen's ears. This was what they called hearing someone before seeing them. Mo Wen wasn't worried at all about Zhu Xiaohong trying to kill him; he knew she couldn't.
On the other side, the more Zhu Xiaohong thought about it, the angrier she became. How dare he take advantage of her while she was unconscious... With that thought, her pace quickened even more.
When she returned to the cave, Zhu Xiaohong was panting again. Earlier, she had been exhausted from worrying that Mo Wen would chase after her, but now most of her fatigue came from anger. The sight inside the cave made her pause; it was different from what she had imagined. In her mind, Mo Wen should have already broken through the wall or at least been making noise—there was no way it could be completely silent. The door showed no signs of being disturbed; that annoying guy wasn't in the cave at all. Had he left through another exit? Zhu Xiaohong frowned.
Standing before the stone door, she picked up the token on the ground and inserted it into the slot to prepare for twisting it. Just then, she froze mid-motion. What if that guy was waiting for her on the other side? No, she needed to check first. Earlier, in her haste to leave, Zhu Xiaohong hadn't realized what the situation behind the door was like. She took a few steps back and focused her energy to look at the stone wall.
"Ah!" Zhu Xiaohong quickly shut her eyes and turned away, her scream echoing in the cave. After finally regaining her composure, her face flushed red again; that guy was completely naked in the bath and seemed to be asleep.
"Oh! Miss Zhu is back?" Mo Wen opened his eyes and glanced at the timer beside him; it was about time. However, he had no intention of getting up; soaking in this bath was just too comfortable.
"You! Get out here! I'm going to kill you!" Hearing Mo Wen's response made Zhu Xiaohong want to turn around, but thinking of what lay beyond the stone wall made her turn back immediately, choosing instead to face the wall. To her surprise, she realized she didn't even know his name.
"May I ask why Miss Zhu wants to kill me?" Mo Wen lay in the pool, unaware that he had been seen completely naked; otherwise, he might have screamed too.
"What did you do? Don't you know in your heart?" After all this commotion, Zhu Xiaohong's anger had lessened considerably.
"Oh? Is it because I tied you up?" Mo Wen asked curiously. Aside from tying her up, he couldn't think of anything else he had done to offend this lady. Could it be because he intended to hand her over to Rong Bahai and others? That didn't seem right either; Mo Wen truly couldn't understand why Zhu Xiaohong wanted him dead.
"No!" This guy must be doing it on purpose. The anger she had managed to suppress flared up again; she felt like dying just thinking about how this guy had tied her up... But before she died, she had to kill him first.
"Then what could possibly make you so furious?" Mo Wen genuinely wondered.
"You... Let me ask you: are all my storage bags with you?" Zhu Xiaohong stomped her foot in frustration at Mo Wen's words but hesitated to directly ask if he had done something with them...
