"Young friend, you must accept this gift! Although we are merely trading, do you not know that this item is a lifesaver for me?" The Old Man exclaimed. "Oh! By the way, feel free to take anything you desire from this Huo Lou."
As he spoke, he grabbed Mo Wen and began to head outside.
"Senior Zhu! I have no need for anything," Mo Wen said, stopping the overly excited Zhu Chi. He indeed had something he wanted, but it was not among the items sold in Huo Lou. Before coming here, he had already thought about what to ask Elder Zhu for. After much consideration, he felt that everything he could think of was either too revealing of his secrets or involved Elder Zhu's own secrets. Right now, all he wanted was to leave this place quickly to avoid running into Zhu Xiaohong.
"Oh? Then what does the young friend require? Feel free to tell me; I can arrange it for you," Zhu Chi finally stopped, sensing that Mo Wen had other intentions. He was prepared for the possibility of a hefty request.
"Uh, Senior, I do have a request. I've been in the Lava Sea for some years now. If it's convenient for you, could you please tell me about the current situation and point me in the right direction?" The two sat down again, and Mo Wen expressed his thoughts. This was a well-considered decision on his part because, due to the Lava Storm, Nameless Town had become the most information-rich place in the area over the past few years. Adventurers from various factions had come to Nameless Town, undoubtedly bringing with them many pieces of information that were hard to come by otherwise. Huo Lou held a unique position in Nameless Town, so such news would not escape Elder Zhu's notice.
"This..." Zhu Chi was taken aback. He had expected Mo Wen to make some harsh demands but was surprised that he merely sought information. For someone at their Realm, worldly affairs were often deemed useless; as long as one possessed strength, they could adapt to any situation.
"Is there something inconvenient about it? Did I overstep?" Mo Wen noticed the change in Zhu Chi's expression.
"Sigh! This request truly caught me off guard," Zhu Chi sighed. It seemed he had been too accustomed to deceit and had overthought things.
"Hehe, as a newcomer to the world, I am not very clear about many matters within it. Having spent several years in the Lava Sea, as you know, it is isolated from the world..." Mo Wen felt somewhat awkward.
"Not at all! Since you are inquiring, I shall inform you," Zhu Chi waved his hand to interrupt Mo Wen's words. They had misunderstood each other’s intentions; however, Zhu Chi did not directly address the matter of information but instead asked about Mo Wen's Realm.
"Senior has keen insight; I am indeed preparing for my next Realm." In Nameless Town, there were at least eighty thousand people at his level. Now Mo Wen finally understood that hiding his status was unnecessary. Although he might have enemies, he did not even know who they were at this point; besides, he had lost his memory and did not even know his original name. How could any enemy possibly find him?
"Back in my day, I reached your level by fifty years old and was considered outstanding among my clan. Compared to you young friends today, I feel like I'm falling behind!" Zhu Chi stroked his beard with a sigh.
"The world is vast; there are countless individuals more exceptional than I—like stars in the sky. My current Realm is purely due to various fortuitous encounters. Moreover, my strength is likely only enough for self-preservation in this world; who knows how long it will take for me to reach your level."
