I smiled as I looked at the two of them. "So, when did this all start?"
Cheng Wu grinned and said, "We've been together since last month."
I shot him a glare. "Oh, so you two have been secretly seeing each other all along and kept it from me!"
Yu Chao laughed and linked her arm with mine. "Li Wan, don’t blame Cheng Wu; it was me who asked him to keep it a secret."
I chuckled and pinched her cheek. "You two..."
Cheng Wu leaned closer to me with a smile. "Li Wan, now you know how happy I am, right?"
I nodded with a smile.
Seeing their happy expressions warmed my heart. I knew this was all thanks to Cheng Wu's brave pursuit of love, and I was genuinely happy for him. I believed that as long as Cheng Wu put in the effort, his relationship with Yu Chao would surely blossom.

Xu Qiang stood nervously at the bottom of the apartment building, gathering his courage to go upstairs.
The three people who were having dinner froze when they saw him.
"You dare come back?"
Xu Qiang turned to Xu Changping. "Dad, I need to talk to you."
Xu Changping set down his chopsticks and led Xu Qiang into the study.
After about ten minutes, the father and son emerged, and Xu Changping looked quite pleased. "Son, have you really thought this through?"
Xu Qiang nodded. "Dad, I want to go back to work."
Xu Changping patted his shoulder. "Don't worry; I'll make sure everything is arranged for you. But about you coming back to live here..."
Xu Qiang shook his head. "No need; I've already found a place to stay."
Xu Changping sighed but didn’t say anything further.
Xu Qiang walked into the living room and looked at Xu Changping and Aunt Zheng. "Dad, Auntie, you eat. I'm leaving."
Without waiting for their response, he stepped out the door.
He drove to the auto repair shop. As soon as he entered, he saw Liu Lu cutting Lin Ming's hair.
Upon noticing him, Liu Lu put down her scissors and said sarcastically, "Oh, look who it is—our big boss! What brings you to our humble abode today?"
Xu Qiang ignored her and turned to Li Xun. "I came to see you."
Li Xun stood up excitedly. "Xu Ge, you're not leaving today, right?"
Xu Qiang shook his head. "Not leaving."
Lin Ming glanced at him through the mirror. "Have you really thought this through?"
Xu Qiang nodded. "I've thought it through."
Lin Ming sighed. "You know, we all realize that you've been thinking about Li Wan all along. You don't really like Yu Chao; you're just with her to make Li Wan jealous."
Xu Qiang lowered his gaze and remained silent.
Li Xun grew anxious. "Old Lin, don’t say that! Xu Ge is doing well with Yu Chao right now; don’t mess things up."
Lin Ming shot him a glare. "What do you know?"
He turned back to Xu Qiang. "Xu Ge, since you've made your decision, we respect your choice. But don't forget, this will always be your home."
A warmth spread in Xu Qiang's heart as he nodded.
Liu Lu walked over and linked her arm with his. "Xu Qiang, are we really going to lose you?"
Xu Qiang looked at her, hesitating to speak.
Finally, he took a deep breath and gathered his courage. "Lulu, I'm sorry."
Liu Lu froze for a moment before reacting. "Xu Qiang, what do you mean?"
Xu Qiang looked at her earnestly. "I know you like me, but at that time... I hesitated. I was afraid to accept your feelings because I feared I would regret it..."
Liu Lu interrupted him. "You don’t have to say any more; I understand."
Xu Qiang continued to look at her. "Lulu, you're a good girl. You will definitely meet someone who truly loves you."
Liu Lu smiled faintly. "Don't worry; I've long since stopped thinking about you."
Xu Qiang was taken aback. "Really?"
She nodded. "I've come to terms with it. My feelings for you are my own responsibility, and you don't need to feel obligated. Besides..." She leaned closer to his ear and whispered, "Your thoughts are all on Li Wan right now."
Xu Qiang froze, instinctively replying, "Don't say that."
She laughed lightly. "Are you still pretending? You think I can't see that you like Li Wan?"
Xu Qiang fell silent.
Li Xun leaned in. "Xu Ge, do you really like Sister Li Wan?"
Xu Qiang shot him a glare. "Get back to work!"
Li Xun pouted and scurried away.
Xu Qiang turned to Liu Lu. "Lulu, stop teasing me."
She chuckled. "I'm not teasing; I'm serious. Li Wan is a good girl. If you're with her, you'll definitely be happy."
Xu Qiang forced a smile. "We'll see."
Liu Lu seemed ready to say more, but Xu Qiang changed the subject. "How are things with Old Lin?"
Her face flushed. "What do you mean by 'how are things'?"
Xu Qiang raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you haven't won him over yet."
She shot him an annoyed look. "It's not that easy! You know how stubborn he is."
He laughed. "Keep at it; I believe in you."
She nodded confidently. "Don't worry, I'll succeed for sure."
After chatting for a bit longer, Xu Qiang took his leave. He drove aimlessly down the road and, before he knew it, found himself parked outside Li Wan's company building.
