Under the cover of night, the Kongtong Sect's infirmary was thick with the stench of blood and herbs. 0

Inside and outside the tents, anguished groans echoed, rising and falling like a mournful symphony. 0

Meng Hao stood outside the tent, listening to the heart-wrenching cries and watching as bodies were carried in, his heart twisting in agony. 0

Each one had been a living soul, now lost due to Youmingfu's sinister schemes. 0

He gripped the Heavenly Axe tightly, his knuckles turning white from the pressure. 0

"Meng Hao, come inside and take a look," Sun Ruoshui's voice, tinged with urgency, broke through Meng Hao's thoughts. 0

He hurried into the tent, where he found Sun Ruoshui kneeling beside a body, its chest pierced through—clearly a fatal blow. 0

Sun Ruoshui was desperately channeling her inner strength, but the man's breath was growing weaker by the moment. 0

Her slender fingers gently traced over her disciple's wounds, her spiritual energy flowing like a gentle stream into him, yet it was still not enough to save a life slipping away. 0

"I... I tried my best..." Tears streamed down Sun Ruoshui's face again as she watched the man's gaze fade, feeling an overwhelming sense of helplessness. 0

Meng Hao's expression turned ashen; he recognized the body instantly—it was a Kongtong Disciple he had fought alongside! 0

He stepped forward and grabbed Sun Ruoshui's shoulders fiercely, his voice hoarse with anger: "What happened?! Didn't we retreat to safety?!" 0

Startled by Meng Hao's sudden movement, Sun Ruoshui looked up at him, her eyes filled with fear and despair: "It... it was Lu Tianxiang! He brought people after us; we... we couldn't hold them off..." 0

"Lu Tianxiang!" Flames of fury ignited in Meng Hao's eyes as he spun around and stormed out of the tent. 0

He knew that Lu Tianxiang was Youmingfu's henchman, intent on eradicating them completely! 0

"Meng Hao! Where are you going?!" Sun Ruoshui called out anxiously, wanting to chase after him but being held back by Hu Meng. 0

"Let him go," Hu Meng said softly, her eyes filled with complex emotions as she watched Meng Hao's retreating figure. "He needs to vent." 0

Like a wild horse breaking free, Meng Hao burst out of the infirmary. With a roar, he swung the Heavenly Axe in his hand, the golden light of the axe flashing like lightning as it cleaved toward the Youmingfu assassins who were slaughtering the Kongtong Disciples. 0

"Bang!" One of the Youmingfu assassins had no time to react before being split in half by the axe light, blood splattering everywhere. 0

"Kill!" Meng Hao's eyes were filled with murderous intent as he unleashed the full power of his Golden Arm. Each swing produced a deafening crack that tore through the air. 0

The Youmingfu assassins were no match for him; anyone grazed by the axe blade would instantly turn into a mist of blood. 0

Lu Tianxiang stood not far away, watching Meng Hao's godlike figure with shock and fear in his eyes. 0

He never expected that Meng Hao's strength had increased once again! 0

Moreover, his murderous intent was so intense! 0

"Damn it!" Lu Tianxiang gritted his teeth. He knew that if he didn't kill Meng Hao today, he would surely become a future threat! 0

He suddenly pulled out a poisoned flying dagger from his pocket, a fierce glint flashing in his eyes. 0

With a swift movement, he darted toward Meng Hao's back like a ghost, the dagger shimmering with a cold light as it aimed for Meng Hao's vital points. 0

However, just as the dagger was about to strike Meng Hao, his figure vanished like a wraith. 0

Lu Tianxiang was struck with horror; before he could react, there was a muffled thud. He felt an immense force hit him, sending him flying backward to crash heavily onto the ground, the dagger slipping from his grasp. 0

"Did you think I would fall for the same trick again?!" Meng Hao's voice echoed like it came from hell as he suddenly appeared in front of Lu Tianxiang, raising the Heavenly Axe high. The golden light of the axe loomed over Lu Tianxiang like the scythe of death. 0

A sharp pain pierced Lu Tianxiang's chest as he struggled to rise but found himself utterly powerless. 0

Looking into Meng Hao's cold eyes, he felt an unprecedented fear. 0

He knew he was doomed. 0

Just as the Heavenly Axe was about to descend, a black figure suddenly appeared in front of Lu Tianxiang, striking out with a palm towards the Heavenly Axe! 0

With a loud bang, the golden light of the axe collided with the shadow of the black palm, producing a piercing roar. 0

Meng Hao felt a tremendous force surge towards him, causing him to stagger back two steps before he could steady himself. 0

Looking up, he saw a woman in black, her figure graceful, standing before Lu Tianxiang. A hint of alluring smile graced her lips, yet her eyes were filled with coldness. 0

"Li Yunyan?!" A flash of shock crossed Meng Hao's eyes. He hadn't expected Li Yunyan to appear here, and her strength had evidently increased significantly! 0

Li Yunyan remained silent; she simply gazed at Meng Hao, her eyes shimmering with an unusual light. 0

A playful smile curled at the corners of her lips as she thought to herself, "Meng Hao, your power has indeed grown stronger. However... soon, everything you have will be mine!" 0

She gently extended her hand and slowly caressed Lu Tianxiang's cheek, her voice soft. "General Lu, are you alright?" 0

Lu Tianxiang looked at Li Yunyan, a complex emotion flickering in his eyes. He shook his head and said nothing. 0

"Meng Hao, let’s end it here for today," Li Yunyan's voice was gentle but carried an undeniable authority. "We have plenty of time ahead." 0

With that, she vanished into the night with Lu Tianxiang and the remaining Youmingfu assassins like a wraith. 0

Meng Hao watched Li Yunyan's retreating figure, his brow furrowed. 0

He understood that Li Yunyan's appearance was no coincidence. 0

The conspiracy of Youmingfu was far more complicated than he had imagined. 0

He lowered his gaze to his left arm, which was bare except for a bloody and mangled wound. 0

The bloody price only fueled the flames of revenge burning within him. 0

He needed to become stronger, strong enough to control everything! 0

He felt the powerful force surging within the Golden Arm, and his gaze gradually became resolute. 0

He knew that his path of growth was now clear. 0

Li Yunyan's figure darted through the night, a smug smile playing at the corners of her lips. 0

She had seen Meng Hao's potential, recognized the immense power he possessed. 0

She understood that as long as she could obtain the Heavenly Axe, she would be able to master it all! 0

A greedy light flickered in her eyes as she began to plot how to harness Meng Hao's strength for herself. 0

A greater conspiracy was quietly brewing in her mind. 0

In the infirmary, Sun Ruoshui and Hu Meng were busy moving among the injured. Their foreheads were beaded with sweat, their faces pale, yet they pressed on with determination. 0

Sun Ruoshui used her spiritual energy to mend a disciple's broken meridians. Her slender fingers gently brushed over the disciple's wounds, the energy flowing like a gentle stream, alleviating their pain. 0

Her long hair was disheveled from her efforts, but she paid no mind to tidying it up, focusing solely on her task. 0

"Hiss—" A disciple gasped in pain, and Sun Ruoshui gently patted his shoulder, softly reassuring him, "Just hold on; it will be over soon." 0

Her voice carried a hint of fatigue but was filled with strength. 0

Meng Hao returned to the infirmary and took in the scene before him, his heart heavy as a mountain. 0

He walked over to Sun Ruoshui, watching her busy figure, and a warm feeling surged in his heart. 0

“How are you? Can you hold on?” Meng Hao's voice was a bit hoarse as he reached out to gently support Sun Ruoshui's shoulder. 0

Sun Ruoshui shook her head, forcing a faint smile. “I’m fine. I can still hold on.” 0

She lifted her head, concern filling her eyes. “Meng Hao, are you… okay?” 0

Meng Hao shook his head, a hint of fatigue flashing in his eyes. “I’m fine, it’s just… seeing these brothers suffer makes me feel terrible.” 0

“I know.” Sun Ruoshui sighed softly, glancing at Meng Hao’s empty left arm with a flicker of pain in her eyes. “You’ve suffered for us.” 0

“It’s nothing.” Meng Hao’s gaze was resolute. “As long as I can protect everyone, this injury is nothing.” 0

At that moment, Bai Yunzi slowly entered the wounded soldiers' camp, supported by several disciples. 0

His pale face bore signs of exhaustion, but his eyes remained sharp. 0

“Meng Hao, you’re back,” Bai Yunzi said, looking at Meng Hao’s empty left arm with a flash of sympathy. “You did well; the disciples of Kongtong Sect did not die in vain.” 0

Meng Hao nodded without speaking, his gaze fixed on the injured disciples, filled with sorrow. 0

“The conspiracy of Youmingfu is far deeper than we imagined,” Bai Yunzi said solemnly. “This time, they are not only after the Divine Weapon but also aiming to completely control the martial world.” 0

“Master, what should we do?” one disciple asked, his voice tinged with despair. 0

Bai Yunzi shook his head and looked at Meng Hao, a profound meaning flashing in his eyes. “Right now, the most important thing is to find out who is behind Youmingfu and eliminate them completely.” 0

He walked over to a simple table where several items collected from the battlefield were laid out. 0

Among them, a black token engraved with strange runes caught Meng Hao's attention. 0

The token was an irregular diamond shape, its surface glimmering with a cold, eerie light, and it felt icy to the touch, as if it could absorb all warmth. 0

Intricate runes crisscrossed over it, emanating an ancient and malevolent aura that unsettled anyone who dared to look at it. 0

At that moment, Meng Hao's Golden Arm began to emit a slight warmth; he sensed a familiar yet extremely dangerous energy fluctuation within the token. 0

"What is this thing?" Meng Hao asked, furrowing his brow. 0

Bai Yunzi picked up the token, his expression grave. "This is a token of Youmingfu. I found it on the corpse of a Youmingfu assassin." 0

He handed the token to Meng Hao and said in a low voice, "This token represents the core power of Youmingfu. Its appearance means that Youmingfu has infiltrated every corner of the martial world and may have even taken control of some forces we least expect." 0

Meng Hao took the token, feeling a chill in his palm. 0

He examined the runes closely when suddenly he felt a powerful hostility emanating from the token, striking directly at his mind! 0

It was a cold and cruel animosity, as if it came from the depths of an abyss, intent on completely devouring him. 0

Meng Hao's heart sank; he immediately circulated his inner strength, and the light from his Golden Arm surged brightly, dispelling that hostility. 0

"Master, this thing is not simple," Meng Hao said solemnly. "It can influence people's minds." 0

"Indeed," Bai Yunzi nodded. "The techniques of Youmingfu are mysterious and unpredictable; they can manipulate others by exploiting their desires and fears. These tokens are their means of control." 0

He looked at Meng Hao with anticipation in his eyes. "Meng Hao, you possess the Heavenly Axe, which can resist this evil power. Perhaps you are the key to uncovering Youmingfu's conspiracy." 0

Meng Hao tightly grasped the token, determination filling his gaze. 0

He sensed an almost imperceptible hostility in the surrounding air, remnants of Youmingfu's aura, coiling around him like a venomous snake that refused to let go. 0

He knew that a greater storm was about to descend. 0

He would be the center of this storm. 0

He silently vowed to uncover the secret behind this token, to find out the mastermind behind the Youmingfu, and to avenge his fallen brothers! 0

He would never allow the conspiracy of Youmingfu to succeed! 0

The night was deep, and the moonlight seeped through the gaps in the tent, casting a glow on Meng Hao's resolute face, reflecting the blazing fire of vengeance in his eyes. 0

However, not far from the wounded soldiers' camp, deep within the dense forest, a dark figure quietly concealed itself among the shadows of the trees. 0

Li Yunyan's lips curled into a cold smile as she gazed in the direction of the camp, her eyes filled with calculation. 0

Her fingertips brushed against a black rune identical to the one in Meng Hao's hand, but the rune she held exuded an even stronger aura of malevolence. 0

"Meng Hao, oh Meng Hao, do you think you've discovered some extraordinary secret?" Li Yunyan murmured to herself, her voice laced with mockery. "This is just the beginning." 0

Greed sparkled in her eyes as if she could already see the Heavenly Axe in Meng Hao's hand beckoning to her. 0
