In the conference hall, Meng Hao's words resonated powerfully, like a thunderclap that echoed in everyone's hearts.
Bai Yunzi suddenly raised his head, his eyes shining with intensity as he fixed his gaze on Meng Hao. In a deep voice, he asked, "Are you suggesting that Li Muqing is not the mastermind, and that there are others behind him?"
Meng Hao did not answer immediately. His gaze fell upon the Yinmingfu Messenger on the ground, who continued to smirk as if watching a farcical play.
"Master," Meng Hao's voice carried a weight of seriousness, "Li Muqing's jealousy and resentment were indeed the catalysts for his betrayal. However, without someone instigating and even manipulating him, how would he dare to be so bold as to openly collude with Youmingfu?"
He paused for a moment before shifting his attention to Sun Ruoshui, who was bowing her head in tears, his eyes sharp with insight.
Sun Ruoshui trembled slightly and lifted her head. Her tear-streaked face was filled with innocence and panic.
"Meng Shixiong, why do you look at me like that?" Her voice quivered with a hint of sobbing, sounding particularly aggrieved.
Meng Hao ignored her defense and directly addressed Bai Yunzi: "Master, I suspect that Youmingfu's true goal is not merely to overthrow Kongtong Sect; what they are plotting is the entire martial world!"
At these words, another wave of commotion swept through the conference hall.
Bai Yunzi's face turned pale; he understood the implications of Meng Hao's statement all too well.
"The ambitions of Youmingfu have long been evident," Bai Yunzi said solemnly. "I just didn't expect them to have infiltrated so deeply!"
Meng Hao nodded and returned his gaze to the Yinmingfu Messenger, coldly stating, "This Yinmingfu Messenger is likely just a pawn. The real big fish is still lurking in the shadows."
Suddenly, the Yinmingfu Messenger burst into sharp laughter, his voice piercing and filled with mockery. "Hmph! You so-called righteous people are nothing but self-deceiving fools! The schemes of Youmingfu are not something you can easily see through!"
A glint of cold light flashed in Meng Hao's eyes as he stepped forward and forcefully stomped on the Yinmingfu Messenger's chest. The messenger let out a muffled groan, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.
"Speak! What is Youmingfu's plan?!" Meng Hao's voice was like a death knell from hell, carrying an undeniable authority.
The Yinmingfu Messenger's face turned pale as fear flickered in his eyes, but he quickly regained his mocking demeanor. "Want to know? Dream on! I would rather die than tell you!"
"Is that so?" Meng Hao sneered. He shook the Heavenly Axe in his hand violently, sending a surge of powerful internal energy into the Yinmingfu Messenger's body.
The body of the Yinmingfu Messenger trembled violently, blood streaming from his seven orifices, clearly enduring immense pain.
“Meng Hao! Stop!” Bai Yunzi suddenly spoke up, worried that if Meng Hao accidentally killed the Yinmingfu Messenger, their lead would be completely severed.
Meng Hao did not relent; he knew that when dealing with such tough opponents, one could not afford to show mercy.
“You have one last chance,” Meng Hao's voice was as cold as frost. “Speak, or die!”
The Yinmingfu Messenger's body shook even more violently, his eyes filled with struggle and fear.
In the end, his fear of death overcame his loyalty.
“I’ll talk… I’ll talk!” The Yinmingfu Messenger rasped, “Youmingfu… Youmingfu’s plan… is to undermine the major sects from within! They have sent infiltrators who are hiding in each sect, sowing discord and creating chaos…”
“Their target is… is the Seven Divine Weapons!” The Yinmingfu Messenger gasped for breath, each word seemingly draining him of all his strength. “They want to seize the Seven Divine Weapons and control the entire martial world! Even… even to control… the court!”
Meng Hao's pupils constricted sharply; the ambition of Youmingfu was far greater than he had imagined!
Bai Yunzi's expression darkened to an extreme; he hadn’t expected Youmingfu’s schemes to be so far-reaching!
“How did they infiltrate the major sects?” Meng Hao pressed on.
The Yinmingfu Messenger glanced at Sun Ruoshui, a meaningful look flashing in his eyes before quickly being suppressed.
“They… they exploited human weaknesses…” the Yinmingfu Messenger said intermittently. “Desire… power… hatred… They amplify these emotions, turning those who harbor grievances into their pawns…”
Meng Hao’s heart sank; he understood the implication behind the Yinmingfu Messenger’s earlier glance.
He turned to Sun Ruoshui, his gaze scrutinizing.
Sun Ruoshui felt a chill under Meng Hao's stare. She forced herself to remain calm and stammered, “Meng Shixiong, why are you looking at me like that? I… I don’t know anything!”
Meng Hao remained silent, simply watching Sun Ruoshui intently as if trying to see through her.
"Enough!" Bai Yunzi suddenly interjected, interrupting Meng Hao's conversation with the Yinmingfu Messenger. "Meng Hao, take this Yinmingfu Messenger away and keep a close watch on him. We'll stop here for today and discuss it further tomorrow!"
Meng Hao nodded, understanding that Bai Yunzi was trying to spare Sun Ruoshui's feelings while also preventing the situation from becoming too awkward.
He grabbed the Yinmingfu Messenger and turned to leave.
As Meng Hao's figure disappeared through the door of the meeting hall, Bai Yunzi abruptly turned his gaze toward Sun Ruoshui, his eyes filled with complex emotions.
"Ruoshui..." Bai Yunzi sighed. "Is there something troubling you lately?"
Sun Ruoshui trembled slightly, quickly kneeling on the ground and crying out, "Master! I... I have no worries at all! I am utterly loyal to Kongtong Sect, with no other intentions!"
Bai Yunzi looked at her, a flicker of disappointment flashing in his eyes.
He knew that Sun Ruoshui was lying.

That night, within Iron Hammer Sect.
Ju Mu, struck by Li Muqing's poison technique, felt the toxin spreading within him, unleashing a wild fury as he let out an ear-splitting roar.
The roar carried a primal ferocity that shook the very foundations of Iron Hammer Sect.
Qian Fengyuan and Hu Meng were stunned by this sudden turn of events; they had never seen Ju Mu so out of control.
"Ju Mu! Have you lost your mind?" Qian Fengyuan shouted, trying to subdue him.
However, Ju Mu was beyond hearing; his eyes were bloodshot like a crazed beast, attacking everything around him indiscriminately.
His iron hammer swung wildly, each strike carrying the force to split mountains and shatter rocks, creating deep craters in the ground and sending debris flying.
The disciples of Iron Hammer Sect were terrified and scattered in all directions, plunging the entire sect into chaos.
Meng Hao and the Steel King rushed over, their expressions turning grave at the sight before them.
“What happened to Ju Mu?!” the Steel King shouted, attempting to approach Ju Mu, only to be repelled by Ju Mu's frenzied attacks.
A glint of realization flashed in Meng Hao's eyes as he noticed the wounds on Ju Mu's body, where poisonous thorns had pierced through. A dark aura was seeping from those wounds.
“It’s poison!” Meng Hao said solemnly. “He’s been backfired by Li Muqing’s poison technique!”
Qian Fengyuan was sent flying by a punch from Ju Mu, crashing heavily to the ground and spitting out a mouthful of blood.
“Meng… Meng Hao…” Qian Fengyuan struggled to lift his head, his voice weak and urgent. “Ju Mu… Ju Mu has the key plan of Youmingfu hidden on him… I… I’m their scapegoat…”
His words thundered in Meng Hao’s ears.
Meng Hao turned sharply to look at Ju Mu, shock flickering in his eyes.
So, Ju Mu was not merely rampaging; he was hiding the secret of Youmingfu!
“Qian Fengyuan! Hold on!” Meng Hao shouted, knowing that Qian Fengyuan was the only one who knew the truth and that he could not afford to die!
He dashed toward Ju Mu, the Heavenly Axe in his hand erupting with brilliant golden light.
“Forcefully breaking through is an act of rebellion!” Meng Hao murmured, and with a thunderous momentum, he swung the Heavenly Axe down at Ju Mu.
Ju Mu roared in response, swinging his hammer to meet the Heavenly Axe.
“Boom!”
A tremendous sound erupted as axe met hammer, sending powerful shockwaves radiating outward and shattering nearby structures.
Meng Hao felt a massive force strike him, pushing him backward, but he quickly steadied himself.
Ju Mu was also pushed back a few steps by the force of the Heavenly Axe; his body swayed slightly as a flicker of pain crossed his eyes.
Though he possessed immense strength, the encroaching poison had rendered him unable to fully exert it.
“Qian Fengyuan!” Hu Meng rushed anxiously to his side, pulling out a medicine pouch she always carried with her to quickly stop the bleeding and heal him.
“Hu Meng... you must go...” Qian Fengyuan said with great difficulty, “Youmingfu's plan... is too terrifying...”
“No! I won’t leave!” Tears welled in Hu Meng's eyes as she tightly grasped Qian Fengyuan's hand, pleading, “Tell me! Tell me Youmingfu's plan! I will find a way!”
Qian Fengyuan looked at Hu Meng's anxious face, a flicker of reluctance crossing his eyes.
He knew he couldn’t hold on much longer.
“Youmingfu... they want to... control all Divine Weapons... using the power of the Divine Weapons... to open... to open a... forbidden gate...” Qian Fengyuan spoke in broken sentences, his voice growing weaker.
“A forbidden gate?!” Both Hu Meng and Meng Hao exclaimed in shock.
They had never heard of such a thing. What was this forbidden gate? And where did it lead?
Meng Hao felt a surge of urgency; he knew time was running out.
He charged once more at Ju Mu, the Heavenly Axe swirling like the wind, its golden light enveloping Ju Mu.
Ju Mu fought back recklessly in his frenzy, but the poison’s effects slowed his movements.
At that moment, Qian Fengyuan suddenly broke free from Hu Meng's support. With the last ounce of his strength, he unleashed the ultimate technique of the Iron Hammer Sect—“Falling Star”!
He soared into the air, transforming into a shooting star that crashed violently into Ju Mu!
“Qian Fengyuan! No!” Hu Meng screamed in anguish.
With a thunderous roar, Qian Fengyuan's body collided with Ju Mu.
A powerful shockwave destroyed everything around, enveloping the area in dust and smoke, blocking out the sun.
As the dust settled, Ju Mu was seen heavily sprawled on the ground, his body convulsing, black blood continuously oozing from his mouth.
Beside him lay Qian Fengyuan, his body charred and devoid of life.
He had sacrificed his own life to buy precious time for Meng Hao and had severely injured Ju Mu in the process.
Hu Meng rushed to Qian Fengyuan's lifeless body, weeping inconsolably.
Meng Hao looked at Qian Fengyuan's corpse, a wave of sorrow washing over him.
He understood that Qian Fengyuan's sacrifice had unveiled deeper secrets of Youmingfu.
Taking a deep breath, Meng Hao turned his gaze toward the fallen Ju Mu, a glimmer of determination flashing in his eyes.
He knew this was not the time for grief.
He must unite the various factions to combat Youmingfu's conspiracy!
