Falling for Your Bed

The soft golden sunlight gently spilled through the floor-to-ceiling window, illuminating the beautifully contoured profile of the woman on the round soft bed. Her hair was slightly tousled, her eyes lightly closed, and her lashes delicately curled, making her look so lovely that one would hesitate to disturb her.
A boy lay on the bed, propping his chin on one hand, motionless as he gazed at her sleeping face. The sunlight cast a gentle shadow across his features, and his eyes held a hint of affection mixed with an imperceptible depth.
At that moment, the woman's long lashes fluttered. The boy immediately buried his head and pretended to be asleep, leaning against her back and finding a comfortable position to nuzzle against her before wrapping his long arms around her waist.
Li Xier frowned slightly, and a flicker of displeasure crossed her slowly opening eyes. She turned around to look at the familiar sleeping face, and her expression of annoyance was quickly replaced by resignation.
"Hey, Chi Mo, why are you sleeping in my bed again?!" she said with a hint of exasperation.
The boy rubbed his sleepy eyes and replied innocently, "There was thunder last night... I wanted to sleep with you."
Thunder? How did she not hear it? Li Xier had always regarded him as a younger brother. When he was little, he would climb into her bed with reasons like "I miss Mom's embrace" or "I had a scary nightmare." She used to indulge him. But after he turned eighteen, she imposed a ban on him entering her room freely. Although she was now twenty-eight and could easily be considered his aunt, there were boundaries between men and women!
Just like now, he was hugging her from behind. His warm, solid chest pressed against her back through the thin fabric of her sleepwear, and she could feel his strong heartbeat clearly, stirring feelings within her. No! She couldn't lose control just because she was an older single woman.
So, she kicked backward with her leg. "Wow!" The boy was accurately kicked off the bed. "This is your last warning! Don't just climb into my bed again!"
After finishing her morning routine, Li Xier changed into a well-tailored professional outfit. Her hair was meticulously styled, and her makeup was elegant and appropriate. She walked in ten-centimeter stilettos, swaying gracefully as she signed documents along the way. Her assistant reported casually, "Another bouquet of fragrant lilies has been sent to you today. Should we throw it away like usual?"
"No need; bring it to my office," Li Xier replied calmly.
"Understood," the assistant acknowledged.
Standing outside the door waiting for news was Xin Yang Technology's Marketing Director Azure Wind Antelope. Upon learning that his feelings had not been rejected this time as they usually were, the man in his thirties actually made a victory gesture at Dao Yuan's entrance before driving away.
Li Xier reached for the car door but was stopped by another large hand with prominent knuckles. A warm smile like sunshine was right in front of her.
"Who are you?" Azure Wind Antelope asked.
"You just need to know that we all like the same woman," the young man said with a mischievous grin, an air of mischief surrounding him.
The Azure Wind Antelope nodded knowingly. "So it's that little wolf dog raised by Li Xier. What? Just because you look like you haven't been weaned, you think you can compete with me for a woman?"
"I wouldn't dare. I'm just here to remind you that Li Xier isn't a bad person; she just has moderate sleepwalking issues. I wonder if you can handle that, old man?" The young man casually shoved his hands into his pockets and leaned against the Azure Wind Antelope's vehicle.
"Old... old man?! What did you just call me, you little brat?" Come on, the Azure Wind Antelope was in his thirties, not old enough to be called 'old man' by a rival!
"By the way, I've slept with Xi'er, so there's no need for you to waste your efforts trying to compete with me," the young man said flippantly.
"Slept... with..." Upon hearing that sensitive word, the Azure Wind Antelope couldn't help but make unhealthy associations. "You little brat, don't you dare walk away! An old man's strength shouldn't be underestimated!"

"Of course! It hurt so much; I almost broke my back..." Chi Mo exaggeratedly rubbed his waist.
The employees who had been eavesdropping outside absorbed every keyword—"kicked off the bed," "hurt," "almost broke my back"—and exchanged knowing glances. The boss had indeed made his move! After ten years of waiting, today was finally the day!
As a titan in the business world and a fierce presence on the battlefield, Li Xier found herself utterly helpless against the rebellious youth before her. Not only did he portray their relationship to the outside world in an ambiguous light, but his personal interests were also rather peculiar.
Since he was ten years old, he had driven away all her suitors with various pranks, leaving her to this day without even having held a male hand… (Of course, except for one particular person.)

“Chi Mo, go away! I need to work! How am I supposed to earn money to support you, you ungrateful brat?!” Desperate not to embarrass herself in front of a kid, Li Xier had no choice but to feign anger and issue an eviction order.
However, the cunning boy was not deterred; instead, he boldly plopped down on Li Xier’s office chair. “Well then, if you need to work, why not sit on my lap? It’s soft and comfortable.”
If it weren’t for the fact that she had raised this little brat from infancy, Li Xier would have slapped him and called him a rogue. But now, faced with a boy who grew more shameless by the day, Li Xier felt defeated.
She hastily made an excuse about having a technical exchange meeting with a certain company and fled the scene in embarrassment.
