The three of them cautiously examined every corner of the basement. Once they confirmed that everything was safe, Nangong Shuang approached the stone table. The wooden box appeared to be well-preserved, seemingly untouched by the ravages of time.
"This box is suspicious," Lu Ming reminded them. "It has been untouched for ten years yet looks so new. There must be a mechanism."

"It’s open!" Nangong Shuang exclaimed joyfully.
The three of them leaned in closer and saw an ancient book and a yellowed letter lying quietly inside the box. The cover of the book bore four powerful characters: "Heavenly Fragrance Life-Extending Technique."
"The Heavenly Fragrance Life-Extending Technique!" Nangong Shuang excitedly reached for the book, flipping open the first page to confirm that it was indeed the treasure she had longed for.
"There’s also a letter," Lu Ming pointed to the letter inside the box.
