As the Sixth Prince took his seat, the atmosphere of the banquet grew more lively. Lord Guo continuously raised his glass to toast the Sixth Prince, engaging in cheerful banter. "You are too humble, my dear," Madam Guo chimed in with a smile. "These material possessions pale in comparison to Guan Chunyi's life. If you do not mind, please accept them."
Seeing that she could not decline, Nangong Shuang accepted graciously. "I am truly honored; thank you for your kindness, Your Excellency and Madam."
Madam Guo continued, "If you do not mind, Nangong Shuang, why not stay at Guo Residence as our guest for a few days? Guan Chunyi is quite fond of you and has been pestering me to let her learn medicine from you."
Just as Nangong Shuang was about to respond, the Sixth Prince suddenly spoke up. "I have heard that Nangong Shuang possesses remarkable medical skills and can even cure Purple Butterfly Poison; such talent is rare indeed. There is an elderly man in my household who has recently fallen ill with a strange disease. Would you be willing to treat him?"
Lord Guo quickly added, "If Your Highness requires Nangong Shuang's services, she will certainly comply."
Nangong Shuang felt a chill run down her spine. What did the Sixth Prince mean by this? Was he trying to help her escape the dangers of Guo Residence or did he have ulterior motives? However, at this moment, she could not refuse and respectfully replied, "Since it is Your Highness's command, I shall do my utmost."
The Sixth Prince nodded in satisfaction. "I will send someone tomorrow to fetch you; may I borrow her for this purpose, Lord Guo?"

"Seven Leaf Lotus Heart?" Lord Guo frowned in thought. "This herb is extremely rare; it is said to only grow in the lotus ponds of the royal forbidden gardens. I fear we do not have any."
Nangong Shuang nodded in disappointment. "I was merely asking casually; there is no need for you to take it to heart."
However, the Sixth Prince suddenly interjected, "Seven Leaf Lotus Heart? I happen to know where some can be found. If you truly need it, you may accompany me tomorrow to collect it."
Nangong Shuang was overjoyed. "Thank you so much, Your Highness!"

As the banquet concluded and guests began to take their leave, Nangong Shuang returned to her room with her thoughts swirling.
