"Thank you for informing me, Miss Guo Chunyi," Nangong Shuang replied solemnly. "But the Dowager of the Duke of State has already agreed on my behalf, so I must go."
Guo Chunyi bit her lip. "Then... I'll accompany you tomorrow. If you encounter any difficulties, I'll help you out."
Nangong Shuang looked at her gratefully. "Miss Guo Chunyi, your loyalty is greatly appreciated."
Once Guo Chunyi left, Nangong Shuang fell into deep thought. Her original plan to have Qiao Er impersonate her would likely not work now. Facing an expert like Xu Taiyi, any flaw could be exposed.
"It seems I have no choice but to go myself," Nangong Shuang murmured to herself before calling for Qiao Er to inform her of the change in plans.
"Sister, isn't that too dangerous?" Qiao Er asked worriedly.
Nangong Shuang shook her head. "Danger and opportunity coexist. You will still accompany me tomorrow, but there's no need for disguise. I have my own plans."
Although Qiao Er had her doubts, she saw that Nangong Shuang had made up her mind and chose not to argue further, only reminding her to be cautious.

Nangong Shuang smiled calmly. "Miss need not worry; I know how to handle it."
