Xiao Zhongmo turned his gaze towards Nangong Shuang, a slight smile gracing his lips. "Nangong Shuang, I hope you are well. Regarding the incident at the last banquet, it was my failure in discipline, and I hope you can forgive me."
Nangong Shuang calmly returned the greeting. "Xiao Er Gongzi is too polite. The actions of the servants in my household are not your concern."
A flicker of coldness passed through Xiao Zhongmo's eyes, yet he maintained his smile. "Nangong Shuang's magnanimity is truly admirable."
After exchanging pleasantries, Madam Xiao and Xiao Zhongmo took their seats, while Nangong Shuang secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Just then, a maid approached to report that a Miss Lan was requesting an audience. Nangong Shuang and Guan Chunyi hurriedly went out to greet her, and indeed it was Lan Yuyan who had arrived.
Dressed in a flowing water-blue gown with her hair simply styled and adorned with a few white flowers, she looked fresh and elegant. She greeted Guan Chunyi and Nangong Shuang with a smile. "Thank you both for inviting me; I apologize for being late."
Guan Chunyi warmly took her hand. "It's wonderful that you could come! Please join us; the banquet has already begun."

Following her were various young ladies and gentlemen who took turns performing songs and dances to display their talents. When it was Xiao Zhongmo's turn, he showcased his exceptional calligraphy skills, executing powerful strokes that drew admiration from all.
"Miss Lan, do you have any special talents?" Guan Chunyi enthusiastically invited Xiao Yuyan. "Why don't you show us something?"
Xiao Yuyan smiled slightly. "I only know a few simple tunes; they are not worthy of such an occasion. However..." She glanced at Nangong Shuang. "I have heard that Nangong Shuang possesses remarkable medical skills; would you be willing to compete with me?"
Her words stunned everyone! Nangong Shuang herself was taken aback; she hadn't expected Xiao Yuyan to make such a request so suddenly.
Guan Chunyi quickly intervened. "Miss Lan is joking! Today is a festive occasion; how can we have a medical competition?"
Yet Xiao Yuyan insisted, "Medical skills are also a form of talent. How about this: I will pose a medical question for Nangong Shuang to answer?"
The guests became intrigued and eagerly supported the idea, wanting to witness this unexpected contest. After pondering for a moment, Nangong Shuang nodded in agreement. "Please present your question, Miss Lan."

Xiao Yu Yan's eyes flashed with surprise as she asked, "What is the formula for the Three Flower Five Leaf Powder?"
