The servant was taken aback and quickly bowed respectfully. "It is indeed Master Xiao! My apologies for my lack of sight!"
"It’s nothing," Xiao Zhongyan said gently. "It's late; I shall return now."
The servant respectfully led him away, but before leaving, he glanced back at where Nangong Shuang was hiding, concern filling his eyes.
