Fang Bo took me for a stroll around the mall and then treated me to some delicious food.
At the restaurant, I ordered a slice of cake while Fang Bo chose a dessert.
I took a bite of the cake and found it quite tasty.
"Fang Bo, would you like to try some?"
I pushed the cake towards him and said, "It's really good!"
Fang Bo paused for a moment before picking up a spoon and scooping a bite of the cake.
His thin lips wrapped around the spoon as he slowly brought the cake to his mouth.
After chewing a few times, he pulled the spoon away.
"Mm, it's very sweet."
I nodded in agreement. "I think so too!"
Fang Bo stared at me for a while, seemingly lost in thought.
He then smirked slightly and lowered his head to enjoy his dessert.
I smiled awkwardly.
Perhaps it was just that Fang Bo looked so tempting while eating his dessert.
Unable to resist, I picked up a spoon and took a bite of his dessert.
Wow… it was really delicious!
Feeling a bit shy, I glanced at Fang Bo. He raised an eyebrow and asked meaningfully,
"Is it good?"
I nodded. "Yes, it's good."
Fang Bo curled his lips into a meaningful smile and said,
"As long as it tastes good."
When it was time to pay, Fang Bo quickly settled the bill before I could.
He ruffled my hair and said,
"Next time, it's your turn to treat."
"Sure," I replied with a smile.
After wandering around for the whole afternoon, I realized my phone was missing.
Panic set in, and my eyes instantly turned red.
Just as I was anxiously pacing in place, a boy suddenly ran towards me.
He returned my phone and then turned to run in another direction.
In the next moment, a figure flashed past me.
It was Fang Bo!
He caught up with the boy and tackled him to the ground.
I stood there watching them, my heart racing with fear.
What if that boy accidentally hurt Fang Bo...
I couldn't bear to think further!
Just as the boy was about to break free from Fang Bo's grip, several police officers suddenly appeared.
They subdued the boy and escorted him into a police car.
I stood still as Fang Bo walked towards me, worry etched on my face as I asked,
"Are you okay?"
Fang Bo shook his head. "I'm fine."
I let out a sigh of relief and looked at him gratefully.
"Thank you."
Since Fang Bo was busy with work, I could only wait for him outside the Fire Station until he finished his shift.
Little did I know that this wait would lead me to an unexpected scene.
I saw Fang Bo standing closely with a girl, their arms linked together.
I froze, unable to believe my eyes.
Could it be... Fang Bo has a girlfriend?
The thought sent a chill through me.
I stiffly walked up and asked the nearby guard, "Who is that girl?"
The guard paused for a moment before replying, "Sister-in-law, that's the captain's girlfriend."
My breath caught in my throat as I struggled to force a smile.
"Oh..."
I awkwardly handed my jacket to the guard and turned to run away.
On the way home, tears streamed down my face uncontrollably.
It turned out I was just a plaything to Fang Bo.
How foolish of me to think he had feelings for me.
Once home, I locked myself in my room.
By evening, a new message popped up on my WeChat.
Fang Bo: “Why did you leave?”
When I saw this message, a surge of anger rushed to my head.
Seriously...
He cheated on me and still asked why I left?
Was he really treating me like a fool?
Fuming, I immediately blocked Fang Bo and then collapsed onto my bed, crying uncontrollably.
As I cried, I eventually fell asleep.
A few days later.
I was taking my nephew for a walk downstairs when I unexpectedly ran into Fang Bo.
He was standing next to a girl—the same girl he had been close with.
I froze, instinctively wanting to run away.
But to my surprise, Fang Bo suddenly called out to me.
“Shi Huiran.”
I stood there, frozen in place, unsure of what to do as I turned to look at him.
