Fang Bo stepped forward, frowning as he asked, "What's wrong with you lately?"
I stumbled back a few steps, not realizing I had stepped on a stone and fell to the ground.
"Hiss—"
Fang Bo hurried over to help me up.
"Are you okay?"
I fought back tears and pushed him away forcefully. "Don't touch me!"
Fang Bo's expression darkened.
He picked me up in one swift motion, frowning as he said, "Don't move."
I was forced to nestle in his arms, a wave of bitterness washing over me.
I didn't want to cry, but the tears betrayed me and began to flow.
Fang Bo carried me to a nearby bench and set me down, then knelt beside me to massage my ankle.
"Does it hurt?"
I glared at him with red-rimmed eyes, holding back my tears.
A girl nearby approached us, shaking her head in disbelief. "How can you treat a girl like this?"
Then she turned to me and smiled, introducing herself. "Hi! I'm Fang Bo's little sister."
I was taken aback, incredulously asking, "Little sister?"
The girl nodded, "Yeah!"
"The last time I saw you with my brother, I knew you must be my sister-in-law!"
"By the way! I was in such a hurry last time that I forgot to tell you my name."
"My name is Fang Fang."
Hearing this, I felt even more confused.
What did she mean by saying she saw me with Fang Bo last time?
Fang Fang seemed to notice my confusion and explained, "Last time my brother was with you, some team members saw it and teased him a bit."
"I happened to be at the team that day, so I heard about it too."
After a pause, she added helplessly, "Who knew my brother was so busy that he didn't have time to tell you about it."
"Sister-in-law, you’re not mad, are you?"
I stood there for a moment before processing what she said.
Oh no...
What was I even thinking all this time?
I thought I had been betrayed!
In the end, it was all just a misunderstanding!
I sniffed a little and awkwardly looked at Fang Fang. "What did you call me?"
"Sister-in-law!" Fang Fang raised an eyebrow and smiled.
I bit my lip and lowered my head, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Suddenly, Fang Bo spoke up.
"You twisted your ankle. Let me take you home."
"Okay." I replied, my face turning red.
Fang Bo picked me up and then handed my nephew to Fang Fang.
After receiving the child, Fang Fang teased with a smile, "Sister-in-law, did you cry again?"
I was taken aback. "How did you know?"
Fang Fang raised an eyebrow. "Because I'm a member of the Crybaby Squad!"
Crybaby Squad?
What on earth is that?
At that moment, Fang Bo chimed in, "The Crybaby Squad is our family's exclusive Auntie Smiles Squad."
I was stunned.
Oh no...
Auntie Smiles?
Recalling how I had cried my eyes out just a few days ago, I felt my face flush even more.
Help me...
How could I have been so embarrassed to cry so badly in front of Fang Bo?
Just then, Fang Fang spoke again.
"Sister-in-law, shouldn't you change your name?"
"Change it to what?" I asked, confused.
"Big Crybaby!" Fang Fang replied seriously.
After Fang Bo dropped me off at home, he squatted in front of me with a tube of ointment.
He carefully unwrapped the bandage and began applying the medicine.
"Does it still hurt?"
I shook my head, blushing. "Not anymore."
Fang Bo sighed and said helplessly, "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding."
I was taken aback, puzzled. "What misunderstanding?"
Fang Bo looked up at me and explained, "The last time at the Fire Brigade entrance, that guard is new; he didn't know my sister is actually my girlfriend."
Hearing this, I was stunned.
So that girl really is Fang Bo's sister?
