Since Fang Bo returned from his last mission, I made him a new safety bracelet.
"You must wear this bracelet properly!" I instructed him earnestly.
"Okay," Fang Bo replied, then extended his hand.
I was taken aback. "What are you doing?"
Fang Bo smirked, "Help me put it on."
My cheeks flushed as I helped him fasten it around his wrist.
Fang Bo smiled knowingly and said, "Wife, can you stay with me tonight?"
I hesitated and pushed him away. "No..."
Fang Bo frowned. "Why not?"
My face turned even redder. "I'm afraid..."
Fang Bo was puzzled. "Afraid of what?"
I blushed deeper. "I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself..."
It took Fang Bo a moment to process my words.
He smiled again, a knowing look in his eyes. "Don't worry, I won't do anything to you."
"I just want to spend a little more time with you."
"Really?" I asked, puzzled.
"Really," Fang Bo replied with a smile.
I pouted, "Alright then."
So that night, I stayed over.
Just as we were about to head out, we discovered the door wouldn't open.
"What's going on?" I asked anxiously.
"I don't know!" Fang Bo frowned.
At that moment, a voice suddenly came from outside.
"Son! Just stay inside for a bit!"
"Mom, what's wrong?" Fang Bo asked in confusion.
There was a long pause before the voice outside continued, "Just stay inside for now!"
"Oh..." Fang Bo responded helplessly.
I frowned, "Are you sure your mom isn't doing this on purpose?"
Fang Bo smirked, "Who knows?"
Just then, a familiar voice rang out from outside.
"Hey! Do you think what we're doing is a bit excessive?"
I was taken aback; wasn't that my mother's voice?
Sure enough!
I knew my mom was doing this on purpose!
At that moment, another voice came from outside.
"That's not too much! It's all for their own good!"
"Besides, they've been together for so long; it's time for them to cultivate their feelings!"
"Yeah... that's true!" my mom replied.
Hearing the conversation outside, I felt utterly speechless.
Could these two please consider my feelings as the person involved?
Reluctantly, I decided to stay.
That night, Fang Bo and I lay on the sofa watching TV.
A horror movie was playing, and I found myself burrowing into Fang Bo's arms in fright.
"Don't be scared, don't be scared!" Fang Bo whispered soothingly.
I held onto him tightly, terrified he might leave me.
"Honey, could you let go for a moment?" Fang Bo said helplessly.
"I won't let go!" I stubbornly refused.
"Alright, alright, do you want to sleep inside or outside?" Fang Bo asked helplessly.
I thought for a moment and replied, "I'll sleep inside!"
Fang Bo paused for a second, "Why?"
My cheeks flushed, "I don't want to be too close to you..."
Fang Bo smirked, "It's fine, I won't do anything to you."
After a moment, he added, "I just want to spend more time with you."
My face turned even redder, "Okay then..."
So that night, I ended up sleeping inside.
Little did I know, Fang Bo eventually wrapped his arms around me.
I felt a rush of panic but didn't push him away.
Just then, the Bluetooth speaker in the room suddenly emitted a strange sound.
I jumped in surprise and quickly burrowed into Fang Bo's embrace.
"Woo woo woo..." I cried out in fear.
"Don't be scared! I'm here!" Fang Bo whispered soothingly.
I held onto him tightly, terrified he might leave.
At that moment, the Bluetooth speaker unexpectedly started playing eerie music from a horror movie.
I was so scared that I burrowed into Fang Bo's arms.
"Woo woo woo..." I cried out in fear.
"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid! I'm here!" Fang Bo gently comforted me.
Just then, the Bluetooth speaker in the room suddenly stopped playing music.
In its place was a children's song!
I was taken aback and looked at Fang Bo. "Did you play that?"
Fang Bo smiled slightly. "Yeah..."
My cheeks flushed. "Thank you..."
Fang Bo smiled again. "You're welcome."
Then, he began to softly hum the children's song to lull me to sleep.
Against the backdrop of eerie music from a horror film, Fang Bo's lullaby brought me a sense of warmth.
At the same time, my psychological defenses were gradually crumbling...
In the end, I took the initiative and pounced on him!
