Nangong Shuang nodded and was about to mount when a man in black suddenly shouted, "Stop! Where is the Heavenly Fragrance Life-Extending Technique? Hand it over!"
Nangong Shuang turned to face him with a cold smile. "You want the Medical Book? Dream on! The injustices of the Nangong Family will soon be revealed to all!"
With that, she mounted her horse and galloped away with the cavalry, disappearing into the night.
The leader of the black-clad figures watched the retreating cavalry with a cold, sinister gaze beneath his mask. "Nangong Girl, you cannot escape. I will find you and the Heavenly Fragrance Life-Extending Technique!"
Under the moonlight, a horse team galloped through the streets of the capital, heading towards the Crown Prince's Mansion. Nangong Shuang sat atop her horse, her emotions in turmoil.
