The news quickly reached the command centers of the Changsha Railway Public Security Bureau and the Guangzhou Railway Public Security Bureau. A special task force composed of over sixty skilled officers was swiftly established.
"This is a heinous murder and dismemberment case, with extremely negative social implications," Shi Qilei stated at the first case analysis meeting. "We must solve this case in the shortest time possible to provide an explanation to society."
