Laughter erupted in the private room as a slightly drunk fat man clapped his hands. 0
"Wang Jiu, the auction is fine, but shouldn’t we check the goods first?" 0
Wang Jiu Ye chuckled lazily, leaning back on the sofa, and waved his fingers. 0
"Didn’t you hear the guests want to inspect the goods? Take off your clothes." 0
Damn it, these shameless old men. 0
I began to unbutton my shirt, my fingers stiff with nervousness. 0
One button, two buttons... 0
Suddenly, the drunken fat man stood up and staggered toward me. 0
"Just looking isn’t enough; you have to feel it to know if it's good quality!" 0
He reached out to grab my shoulder. 0
Instinctively, I stepped back and knocked over the ice bucket beside me. 0
A whole bucket of ice water splashed onto the bald man next to me without wasting a drop. 0
"Damn!" 0
The bald man looked down at his soaked pants and shot me a fierce glare before turning to Wang Jiu Ye. 0
Wang Jiu Ye’s expression darkened as he gestured for another bodyguard to join him. 0
"Help her." 0
The bald man grabbed my arm while the other one reached out to tear at my shirt. 0
With a rip— 0
In the dim light of the private room, my shirt was torn open, revealing large patches of red rashes on my chest. 0

These rashes were irregularly spread across my chest and shoulders, looking quite disturbing. 0
The bald man immediately released me, wiping his hands on his pants. 0
Wang Jiu Ye’s previously playful expression froze. "What’s going on? Are you messing with me?" 0

I clutched my collar tightly, wrapping myself up, and in an instant, my expression changed as I burst into tears. 0
"I'm sorry, Wang Jiu, I… I've had this skin disease for years, and it just won't go away. It's contagious…" 0
The guests collectively grimaced, several of them even covering their noses. 0
"Get out of here!" 0
"What is this? It's disgusting!" 0
0
Scar Liu also looked thoroughly repulsed, grabbing my collar and preparing to drag me out. 0
I lowered my head, holding onto my collar tightly as I followed Scar Liu's force toward the door. 0
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my back! 0
A large glass ashtray had crashed down. 0
It was thrown by Wang Jiu Ye. 0
I had embarrassed him in front of the guests, and naturally, he was furious. 0
I stumbled from the impact but bit back the pain and hurriedly continued to move outside. 0
The hallway was brighter than the private room, and I glanced down at the red rashes on my body, now damp with sweat. 0
Fortunately, they still looked intact; at least I had fooled everyone. 0
These rashes took me a full three hours to paint on. 0
Afterward, I changed into a cleaner's uniform and worked until three in the morning to finally finish cleaning three entire floors of restrooms. 0
I glanced at the empty hallway, planning to slip away discreetly. 0
My sister's condition hasn't been great lately; I wanted to take this chance to check on her. 0
With my head down, just as I reached the entrance of the club, I heard someone call out behind me. 0
"Lin Xue." 0
I froze and slowly turned around. 0
Scar Liu looked at me with a half-smile, "It's not time yet; where do you think you're going?" 0

"Sister Liu... I'm going out for some fresh air." 0

Scar Liu beckoned with her finger. "Wang Jiu is looking for you, come with me." 0

I knew refusing would be pointless, so I steeled myself and followed her back to the VIP room we had been in before. 0

Wang Jiu Ye was still sitting in his original spot, though the guests around him had changed. He was idly playing with a deck of cards and glanced at me casually. 0

"Don't be in such a hurry to clock out. Why not stay and play a few hands with us?" 0
