Jiang Fan sighed, "It's not that serious! It's just that if I had known marriage would be this boring, I might as well have played around for a few more years!" 0

"Are you really going to ignore a girl lying naked beside you?" 0

"That's a different matter!" 0

His friend scoffed, "What do you mean it's a different matter? As long as you keep it under wraps, what's wrong with having a little fun?" 0

Jiang Fan fell silent. After a long pause, he said lightly, "Let's talk about it later." 0

Hearing this, I gently closed the half-open door and turned to leave. 0

Jiang Fan was having thoughts of seeking excitement. Whether it was out of boredom or because of that girl, he was contemplating infidelity. But I couldn't wait for him to cheat before ending our marriage. So before he strayed, I had to put an end to this relationship. 0

When I proposed divorce, Jiang Fan remained silent for a long time. He looked at me as if I were a petulant child throwing a tantrum. It wasn't just him; I too recalled the past—those days when I frequently brought up divorce. During that time, I felt anxious and tormented, yet utterly lost. Arguments became my outlet for emotions, and mentioning divorce was my desperate outburst. 0

In truth, I didn't genuinely want a divorce. I just didn't know what else to do anymore. My relationship with Jiang Fan had reached a dead end with no way out. 0

I can only keep hitting the wall over and over again. Until my head is bloodied, I break through. 0

Jiang Fan sighed. “Hui Hui, there’s really nothing between me and Yang Fang. If it bothers you, I’ll reduce my contact with her.” 0

“Don’t mention divorce again; I don’t want to hear it.” 0

I sighed as well. “Jiang Fan, don’t rush to respond. Think it over carefully. Do you really not want a divorce? After all, right now, divorce would be more beneficial for you than harmful.” 0

That night, Jiang Fan and I had an unpleasant argument. For an entire week afterward, he moved into the guest room, coming and going at odd hours without saying a word to me. 0

Jia Jia gently smoothed a page of her storybook and looked up at me. “Mommy, when is Daddy coming home?” 0

“What’s wrong?” 0

“I want to read this storybook with Daddy.” 0

“Can’t Mommy read it with you instead?” 0

The little girl looked at me, insisting, “But I want to read it with Daddy!” 0

A pang of sadness hit me; it seemed I couldn’t let things continue like this. 0

Yang Fang’s villa wasn’t far from our home; it was given to us as part of a debt settlement. I went straight to the security room and pretended that I had lost something, asking the guard to help me check the surveillance footage. 0

For the past week, Jiang Fan had been driving in every afternoon and coming out one or two hours later. He would still take about an hour to arrive now. 0

The gate had a keypad lock, and I had long forgotten the password, so I could only knock on the door. 0

The door opened quickly, revealing a bright face. 0
"What brings you here today..." 0
Her expression froze the moment she saw me. 0
Noticing she was wearing an apron, I asked, "Are you cooking?" 0
Yang Fang nervously clutched the hem of her clothes. "Miss Ma!" 0
I nodded and stepped inside. 0
Yang Fang followed me, cautiously asking, "Miss Ma, is there something you need?" 0
"I'm sorry," I said directly, 0
"I need to take back this house. You have an hour to pack your things. Is that enough? Do you need help finding a moving company?" 0
"And about that dessert shop, will you return the startup funds to me, or should I take back the storefront?" 0
Yang Fang's eyes widened, her cautious demeanor instantly shifting to anger. 0
"How dare you!" 0
I smiled lightly. "Because all of this is marital property." 0
Her expression darkened as she took a step back, shaking her head. 0
"Miss Ma, this is between Jiang Fan and me; you have no right to interfere!" 0
"Alright then, we can wait for him to come back." 0
I found a place to sit while Yang Fang remained standing in place. 0
After a long silence, she finally broke it. 0
