I wasn't sure if I was angry or relieved.

I punched him hard.
The day we handed over the house turned out to be judgment day.
Jiao Li and I walked toward our new home, appearing harmonious on the surface while each of us had our own thoughts.
Her mother had been waiting for us, luggage in tow.
Before I could say anything, Mother-in-law shouted at the top of her lungs:
"Open the door! I'm here to stay with my daughter!"
I glanced at Mother-in-law, then at Jiao Li:
"What’s going on?"
Jiao Li didn’t respond; she ran over with the keys to open the door and let her mother in, closing it behind them.
Fortunately, I had a spare key.
"Jiao Li!"
I pushed the door open, and the smell of fresh paint hit me; neither of them seemed bothered by it.
"Shouldn't you explain this?"
"What do I need to explain? You made mistakes on your wedding night first, cheated after marriage, and still didn’t leave cleanly. Do you want to take this all the way to court before you're satisfied?"
Jiao Li seemed like a different person, making me feel unfamiliar, disgusted, and even a bit fearful.
"What are you talking about? When did I cheat?" I acted, putting on a show until everyone arrived.
"You still dare to say you didn't cheat? Look at this!" Jiao Li pulled out her phone, and on the screen was a video of me kissing Ma Shishi.
"I... what does this prove? I didn't cheat; I was drunk that day and acted impulsively, but nothing happened! Where did you get this video?"
"You're still pretending? You have physical evidence, and you won't admit it? Then I'll bring in witnesses!" She started making calls, one after another. Did she really think she was the only one who could rally people?
"Zhang? Come over to Building 18, Room 1016 at Fuhe International. I'm waiting for you..."

I called Zhi Gang.

This call was directed to the front desk of Jiao Li's former company. I never expected that on the first day of moving into our new home, it would be so lively.

My mother-in-law cried out in despair.
Ma Shishi's face turned slightly red, but she still stood beside me, holding back her emotions. My mom clutched her chest, and Zhi Gang quickly pulled her aside to comfort her.
As for me? I quietly pressed the remote control for the living room projector, casting the video from my phone onto the entire wall.
Jiao Li was about to explode in anger when everyone else gasped in shock.
“What is this? Turn it off, turn it off!” Jiao Li screamed hysterically as her mother rushed to the wall, trying to block the indecent scene.
Gao Wei covered his face and tried to run away, but Zhi Gang yanked him back.
“Where do you think you're going, brother? You should watch this before you leave!” Zhi Gang said with a cheeky grin, holding them in place.
It was time for the curtain to fall, and I couldn’t help but chuckle inwardly, but little did I expect that experience would always prevail…
