In the demon realm, the Snow Rabbit Kingdom was merely a small nation, with defensive and offensive capabilities that could be described as novice-level. After all, what could a group of hopping rabbits do? Dig holes, nibble on cabbage, and pull up radishes, of course. 0

However, to the surprise of many demons, this tiny kingdom managed to withstand the fierce attacks from the powerful Wolf Kingdom. It was well known that the Wolf Kingdom sought not only the kingdom's precious stone—the ruby—but also aimed to annihilate the Snow Rabbit Kingdom entirely. 0

The two sides were at a stalemate. 0

Naturally, the Snow Rabbit Kingdom could not sit idly by and wait for their doom. Thus, Bai Xiao Tu, amidst the heartfelt send-off from her fellow villagers, bravely grasped two carrots and marched across the small hill in search of a master. Legend had it that there was a monk in the human realm with profound skills; he possessed an ethereal presence and was known for saving lives. With a mere wave of his sleeve, all demons would kneel in reverence, while common folk would line the streets to offer gold and silver—he was practically a divine being. 0

Bai Xiao Tu held immense respect as she sought to invite this deity out of seclusion to save the Snow Rabbit Kingdom from its plight. But when she finally learned the truth, tears streamed down her face; the monk she encountered in a dilapidated temple was none other than the legendary Lan Ruo Monk! This was unbelievable! Yet, the five-star alignment unmistakably revealed his identity. 0

With a request in mind, Bai Xiao Tu's attitude towards Lan Ruo shifted from one of hostility to that of a gentle spring breeze in March. 0

“Master, could we hire a carriage to speed up our journey?” she asked with a beaming smile as they walked along a secluded path. 0

Heaven knew how much effort it took for her to persuade Lan Ruo Monk to help the Snow Rabbit Kingdom through its crisis. Following the monk's instructions, she transformed back into her original form and danced around him in a grass skirt while shedding tears, even jumping through fire hoops like a circus dog! 0

“What’s wrong? If you’re eager to return, you can go ahead,” Lan Ruo said lazily, glancing at her. 0

“No, no! I’m not in a hurry,” Bai Xiao Tu replied sweetly, though inwardly she was plotting against him. 0

“Bai Xiao Tu, are you constipated? Your smile is quite unpleasant,” Lan Ruo remarked with a grin, his white teeth shining in the sunlight as he pinched her cheek. “Oh, nice texture.” 0

You’re the one who’s constipated; you’re the only one in your village who is! Bai Xiao Tu cursed inwardly but maintained an innocent demeanor, cradling her face like a delicate flower and gazing at him with starry eyes. “Master, do I look good?” 0

"It looks so good that it makes me want to eat rabbit meat," the Master said, his eyes shining with excitement. 0

Bai Xiao Tu immediately adopted a timid posture, shrinking her head and falling silent. 0

Suddenly, a disturbance broke the calm of the grass. Bai Xiao Tu sensed something was wrong and saw a hundred black shadows darting through the grass, blocking their path. 0

It was the pack of relentless werewolves from the Wolf Kingdom, clad in matching black gear with masks covering half of their faces. 0

Only the leader of the werewolves was unmasked. He stood with his arms crossed against the wind, revealing a handsome face that made him look more like a chivalrous hero from the mortal realm. "Princess, is this your so-called savior? A stinky monk," he scoffed. 0

"Hunting Wolf, I'm not afraid of you. Bring it on!" In past encounters, Bai Xiao Tu would have run away shouting "Come chase me, come chase me!" But this time, with the Master by her side, she spoke confidently and stood tall. However, after her bold declaration, she immediately hid behind Lan Ruo, poking his back and urging, "Master, don't hold back!" 0

Lan Ruo remained calm and gave Bai Xiao Tu a middle finger. A small flame flickered at his fingertip, nearly causing Bai Xiao Tu to cling to the Master's leg in fright. The Hua Monk had three loves: drinking, eating meat, and roasting rabbits! 0

"Capture the princess alive; kill the monk," Hunting Wolf commanded. His minions immediately moved in to surround the two. 0

"Oh dear, what can a vegetarian monk do about your affairs?" Although he said this, Lan Ruo did not stand idly by; he struck out at the approaching werewolves with ease, sending several flying without even needing to use spells. 0

Bai Xiao Tu clung closely to him, dodging attacks from the werewolves as if she were leveling up by following the Master and gaining experience. 0

Noticing Bai Xiao Tu's intentions, Hunting Wolf seized the opportunity while Lan Ruo turned to fend off his subordinates. He unleashed a spell that struck Bai Xiao Tu on her forehead. She couldn't dodge in time and immediately collapsed to the ground. 0

As darkness enveloped her, Bai Xiao Tu caught a glimpse of Lan Ruo reaching out for her, but he was quickly surrounded by werewolves, unable to come to her aid. 0

Bai Xiao Tu thought in confusion, how did she end up being captured even after getting close to the Master? The Master truly was just a legend! 0
