"You, you, you, how could it be you?"
An Nuan was so shocked that her tongue got tied. The man smirked wickedly, wrapping his large hand around her small one and biting down hard on her lip, releasing her only when she cried out in pain. "Why can't it be me?"
"You are the Major Shareholder of Xing Hui?"
An Nuan looked at the man in front of her with suspicion.
This person was none other than her newly appointed husband, Ye Yunfeng, with his exquisite features and alluring aura. No wonder he didn’t mind that she had approached the Major Shareholder of Xing Hui; he was that very person himself. She clutched the blanket tightly, glaring at him with a mix of anger and shyness.

Oh my God. What was she saying? As if Ye Yunfeng cared about her feelings! What if he was just toying with her, this foolish woman trying to sell herself for benefits?
Perhaps he was secretly looking down on her right now.
"I've planned everything out; how could it go wrong? Or do you think that's why a special room suddenly appeared here?"
Ye Yunfeng gently played with her hair, and An Nuan's heart jolted as she suddenly looked up at him. "Did you plan this? Why would you do something like this? Is it fun for you to watch me flounder, facing my fears as I pursue the Major Shareholder I imagined?"
"To lead a normal married life," Ye Yunfeng said shamelessly, causing Nuan Nuan's cheeks to flush crimson.

Instinctively, she wanted to cover his mouth, but Ye Yunfeng held her small hand in his, enveloping it in his larger one. Their hands fit perfectly together.
His thumb caressed the back of her hand, and his eyes sparkled with teasing laughter. "That's just one part. Secondly..."

An Nuan asked nervously, her eyes fixed on his smiling face as he continued, "If I hadn't let you find me through Ye Meiqi, how would she know you have a Financier backing you? With an invisible support she dares not offend, wouldn't it be more satisfying for her to retaliate?"

An Nuan asked cautiously, aware that such a question might lead to an awkward answer, yet unable to hold back.
She focused intently on his exquisite features, not missing any subtle expression on his face.
He parted his thin lips and slowly said, "You are my wife; if I don't help you, who will?"
"Is it really just because of this?"
Why did she always feel there was something more to it? Why was he treating her so well? Was it merely because of that marriage certificate? She didn't believe that a piece of paper could truly bind such a successful man.
The Major Shareholder behind Xing Hui, just this one identity represented considerable wealth. After all, Xing Hui held a top position in the entire entertainment industry, ranking among the best.
