Underground Floor--
Xia Xihe picked up the glasses that had fallen on the ground and stared blankly at the mud-brick tunnel in front of him. The tunnel stretched into an unknown place, with light bulbs embedded in the walls on either side.
He looked up; above him was only a patch of red bricks. He was a bit confused about how he ended up here.
How could it be that in the blink of an eye, he found himself in such a completely different place?
It was terrifying that Yan Yulong's home hid such a tunnel.
Xia Xihe rubbed his arms; it felt eerie here, even more so than the previous room.
He had to leave this place as soon as possible... He glanced around, and there were no exits behind him, above him, or beneath his feet. The only way to go was forward.
But... Xia Xihe shivered at the thought that if there was no exit ahead and it turned out to be a dead end, it would be even worse.
He suddenly remembered that he had accidentally triggered a mechanism on the wall that caused him to fall. He stubbornly pressed against the wall to search for a switch, but of course, he couldn't find anything.
"Sigh... What should I do..." He wanted to leave but didn't dare to. Was he just supposed to sit here and wait for death? Xia Xihe hugged his head and sat down on the ground.
On the other side of the thick mud bricks, in the situation above the tunnel—
Old Servant walked out of the room, holding the butterfly bow tie, looking puzzled. He encountered Yan Yulong, who was rushing around a corner.
"Third Young Master." Old Servant respectfully bowed to him.
"Uncle Wei, have you seen..." Yan Yulong was about to ask when he suddenly noticed the bow tie in Old Servant's hand.
What is this... He snatched it away. After careful examination, he confirmed it was Xia Xihe's bow tie. Frowning, he asked, "Where did this come from?"
"Young Master, I found this in the room where the master keeps photos."
"My father's room?" Hearing this, Yan Yulong's heart sank.
This room is his father's private space, and even their brothers are not allowed to enter casually. He had accidentally stumbled in when he was young...
"Did you see anyone else in the room?" he asked in a low voice.
"Young Master, I only went into that room to check because I heard some noise, but I didn't see anyone. I only found this bow tie behind the curtain," Uncle Wei replied honestly.
Behind the curtain? Could it be... Yan Yulong's heart tightened as he quickly ran to that room. Yan Yulong arrived behind the curtain and carefully searched the wall...
He felt along the entire wall but couldn't find any mechanism.
"Damn it!" Yan Yulong impatiently pounded his fists against the wall. After about ten punches, finally... thud! Yan Yulong hit a mechanism, and a square tile immediately sank in. Then with a click, a hole appeared in the floor corresponding to the wall.
Yan Yulong jumped in.
Xia Xihe, who was lost in thought, heard a series of gear movements above him. He looked up in shock and saw an opening at the top of the tunnel, followed by a shadow falling from above.
"Wow..." Xia Xihe instinctively stepped back, and at that moment, the person also saw him. As a result, when they landed, they lost their balance while trying to dodge him and ended up crashing down on top of him.
The two people on the ground groaned as they got up. Yan Yulong reacted first; he grabbed Xia Xihe's shoulders and pulled him up, carefully checking him all over to ensure he wasn't hurt before letting out a sigh of relief.
"You idiot, I told you not to run around..." he said with a hint of complaint. Xia Xihe stared at him blankly, his eyes reddening as he stammered:
"I'm... I'm sorry... I felt like I was going to throw up, so someone took me to the restroom, but I accidentally got lost..."
As he spoke, everything suddenly blurred before him as Yan Yulong tightly embraced him. Yan Yulong leaned close to his ear and whispered, "It's my fault..."
Hearing such self-reproachful words from him was enough to move anyone. Xia Xihe instantly felt his face flush and his heart race like a startled deer.
So he's this gentle... Xia Xihe was touched in his heart when Yan Yulong unexpectedly pushed him down onto the ground and kissed him.
"Mmm... mmm..." Xia Xihe was caught off guard and felt almost suffocated by the kiss.
Yan Yulong seemed to be venting something as he fiercely scraped his tongue around in Xia Xihe's mouth, then took a hard breath on his lips before letting him go.
His eyes burned as he stared at the panting Xia Xihe. Xia Xihe felt a rush of heat all over, holding his breath, with fear rising in his heart, along with a sense of anticipation he could not fully understand.
Yan Yulong stood up and reached out his hand, saying, "Let's go."
Xia Xihe allowed him to pull him up and asked, "How are we going to get out of here?"
"Just move forward."
"Move forward?" Xia Xihe looked up and asked, "Can't we get out through that opening?"
"That opening is only for entry, not exit. To leave here, we can only go forward."
Yan Yulong led him onward, while Xia Xihe anxiously glanced around. All he could hear was the echo of their footsteps, and the lights on the walls flickered due to fluctuations in the current. The entire tunnel felt hollow and quite terrifying.
After walking for a while along the winding tunnel, they came to a fork in the path.
Yan Yulong stopped to think for a moment, seemingly considering which way to go.
"This way," he finally decided on the right side. Xia Xihe began to feel uneasy and timidly asked, "You don’t know where the exit is either?"
"I don't remember," Yan Yulong said without any sign of tension.
"But... but... isn't this your home?"
"This place is a secret tunnel created by my perverted dad; no one is allowed in."
"A secret tunnel?" Xia Xihe exclaimed in surprise. "Your dad... is amazing..."
"What a load of crap, that Old Man just loves to put on a show."
"Well... but... since this is a secret place, if we ran in here... would we..."
"We would." Yan Yulong answered before he could finish his question.
"Ugh... I was asking if we would get trapped and die here..." Xia Xihe said with a mournful face.
"That won't happen. I still remember how to get out. We just need to leave quickly before the old man finds us."
"Oh... then what did you mean by 'we would'?" Xia Xihe asked anxiously.
Yan Yulong turned to look at him and said in a menacing tone, "If my dad finds out you came in here, he'll kill you, then drain your blood and soak you in Formaldehyde..."
Formaldehyde is a chemical used specifically for preserving corpses, and upon hearing this, Xia Xihe turned pale.
"You... you... you're just trying to scare me, right?"
Yan Yulong smiled ominously and lowered his voice, "What I'm saying is true... There was once a careless maid who accidentally fell into this tunnel while cleaning. When she was discovered, my dad used this method to deal with her...
Her body was soaked in Formaldehyde and placed in a giant glass jar in my dad's basement. When she died, her eyes were still open, and after being soaked for too long, her face started to swell. Whenever the jar was shaken, her eyeballs would fall out along with strands of blood..."
His tone combined with the surrounding atmosphere made Xia Xihe scream, "Wah~~ don't say anymore~~"
