The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World

Faced with the stubborn defeated opponent, Eastern Proud Dragon showed no mercy and angrily struck at Sanwei Daoist. Sanwei Daoist dodged left and right, finding it increasingly difficult to fight back. Meanwhile, Yi Junsheng, holding giant scissors, waited for an opportunity to strike. Eastern Proud Dragon swung his Great Axe fiercely, closing in step by step. Sanwei Daoist's clothing was already torn to shreds by the blade of the Great Axe, leaving him in a pitiful state.
Seeing the situation was unfavorable, Yi Junsheng jumped into the fray with his scissors aimed at Eastern Proud Dragon's lower body. Although Sanwei Daoist was disheveled, he continued to engage Eastern Proud Dragon. Seeing this, Yi Junsheng hurriedly raised his giant scissors to block the axe but was overpowered by Eastern Proud Dragon's immense strength and was forced down to the ground. Just as Yi Junsheng found himself in a dire situation, Fan Buzhao intervened with a fierce palm strike aimed at Eastern Proud Dragon, giving Yi Junsheng a chance to breathe.
Seeing Fan Buzhao join the battle made Sanwei Daoist even bolder as he continued to entangle with Eastern Proud Dragon. At this moment, Yi Junsheng also got back on his feet and launched a fierce attack on Eastern Proud Dragon's legs with his scissors. With one against three, Eastern Proud Dragon became distracted; his lower body was injured by Yi Junsheng's giant scissors and was bleeding profusely. Realizing the situation was dire and that he was injured in his lower body, Eastern Proud Dragon quickly jumped out of the battle circle and fled in embarrassment. Yi Junsheng intended to pursue him when Fan Buzhao cautioned, “Don’t chase a desperate enemy! Let’s check on Sanwei Daoist’s injuries first.”
Yi Junsheng sighed, “Once again that damned Tall Guy escapes.”
Inside Dreaming Medical Pavilion, Divine Doctor Zhang Chongxing was studying the method of reviving poisonous insects using Yamada Koji's corpse. However, the experiment failed as all the insects were burned to death by flames emitted from Yamada Koji's corpse, which then mutated. The corpse had no consciousness but could move freely and would kill upon seeing a living person. At this moment, Dreaming Medical Pavilion was in chaos as Yamada Koji's corpse chased after Zhuge Kongming and Zhang Chongqing; it aimed to absorb their yang energy. Zhuge Kongming drew his sword and frantically stabbed at Yamada Koji's corpse. Yet the corpse felt no pain nor bled; instead, it grabbed Zhuge Kongming's head with both hands, preparing to extract his yang energy. Just as the corpse approached Zhuge Kongming's head, a sword aura shot in from outside the door and accurately struck Yamada Koji's corpse. The corpse was sent flying several feet away before leaping up and breaking through the roof to escape from the medical pavilion. At this moment, Zhang Chongqing and Zhuge Kongming were still in shock. Suddenly came a voice from outside saying, “We must retrieve the mutated corpse; otherwise innocent people will suffer.” Zhang Chongqing said to Zhuge Kongming, “You should hurry and inform Yi Junsheng so he can help retrieve the corpse.”

Gao Jianli faced off against Ben Aoxiang while Jing Ke confronted Duanmu Chong again; other assassins engaged with numerous members of Martial Arts Sect.
Gao Jianli faced Ben Aoxiang and showcased his martial skills with powerful strikes that displayed his prowess. Ben Aoxiang was Duanmu Chong’s direct disciple and had mastered Duanmu Chong’s martial essence; thus their battle became intense and evenly matched. To assist others in escaping quickly from danger, Gao Jianli unleashed his ultimate technique—one-hit kill—with furious intent that generated a massive airflow resembling a fist aimed at Ben Aoxiang. Ben Aoxiang’s determination for revenge was unquestionable as he executed his ultimate move—Galactic Destruction—causing an immediate change in winds as energy surged like a rainbow across the sky. The two ultimate moves collided with thunderous force creating an explosion that devastated the surroundings; even some members of Martial Arts Faction suffered severe injuries from being caught in the blast wave. Both Gao Jianli and Ben Aoxiang were struck by each other's energy waves and simultaneously spat out blood from their injuries.
Duanmu Chong faced Jing Ke, filled with a burning rage. He initiated his move with the top-tier Qigong technique, "Cang Hai Sang Tian." Instantly, dark clouds gathered, and the sun and moon lost their light. A massive airflow formed a rotating vortex akin to the sun, striking directly at Jing Ke. Jing Ke broke the norm and swiftly used his dagger to unleash hundreds of blade energies to block Duanmu Chong's ultimate move. As Duanmu Chong's attack broke through Jing Ke's blade energies with an overwhelming force, the ground beneath Jing Ke was instantly destroyed, creating a massive pit, and Jing Ke fell into it, sustaining serious injuries.
Seeing Jing Ke injured, Gao Jianli hurriedly signaled for a retreat. Yao Li then jumped into the pit to rescue Jing Ke, while several assassins simultaneously launched attacks against Duanmu Chong before fleeing the scene. Duanmu Chong blocked the palm energy and furiously declared, "Even if the people of the Black Design Society escape to the ends of the earth, I will make you pay with your lives." He then struck down with a powerful palm, destroying Afang Palace. Duanmu Chong ordered, "All troops return to Martial Arts Sect."
Zhuge Kongming emerged from Dreaming Medical Pavilion and searched for Yi Junsheng in Martial Arts Alliance when he suddenly encountered Loser Scholar Fan Buzhao. Zhuge Kongming learned from Fan Buzhao about Yi Junsheng's whereabouts and rushed over. Arriving at a scenic historical site, he saw a carriage and informed Yi Junsheng about the mutation of Yamada Koji's corpse. Yi Junsheng replied, "What? Such a thing has happened? What is Zhang Chongqing doing? How could it escalate to such severe Corpse Transformation? It seems it's time for me to contribute to the martial world. I will go find the Clangorous Guard Team to help capture Yamada Koji, this Zombie. Sanwei Daoist, let's set off quickly." Sanwei Daoist then departed with the carriage.
Back at Martial Arts Sect, Duanmu Chong was still seething with anger. Ben Aoxiang said, "Master, the people of the Black Design Society have suffered a crushing defeat and are no longer a concern. However, there are still many sects in the martial world that do not submit to our leadership. Should we take action against these sects now to prevent them from uniting later?
