The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
In the river, Huangfu Mingmo could not allow his beloved to be so openly scrutinized. He immediately unleashed a sword aura aimed directly at the eyes of the person on the shore. In an instant, everyone was caught off guard, and their eyes were blinded by the sword aura, leading to cries of despair echoing across the riverbank.
Within Qingming River, Huangfu Mingmo and Jia Baoyu were about to reach Qiu Yuxia. Suddenly, Qiu Yuxia leaped high from the river, flying away from Qingming River. Seeing this, Huangfu Mingmo exclaimed, "My friend, where are you going?" He then jumped after her in haste. Jia Baoyu, seeing that the beauty had left, swam disappointedly toward the shore. Behind him, a crocodile was about to catch up; however, Jia Baoyu managed to reach the shore first and narrowly escaped with his life.
The injured Eastern Proud Dragon fled toward Northern Martial Arts, closely pursued by Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head. The Eastern Proud Dragon desperately made its way into a dense forest. At this moment, Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head also arrived. Inside the forest, it was eerily quiet until suddenly a beast's roar pierced the silence, sending chills down their spines. Yi Junsheng felt that this place seemed familiar and remarked, "Reverse Head, I think I've been here before." Before he could ponder further, Reverse Head attacked the exhausted Eastern Proud Dragon, intending to take his enemy's head as a tribute for his fallen friend. Just as the Eastern Proud Dragon's life was about to end, Half-Leopard Man leaped out from the woods and lunged at Reverse Head with his sharp claws. Reverse Head quickly dodged and evaded Half-Leopard Man's attack.
Yi Junsheng suddenly remembered that this was Half-Orc territory and said, "Reverse Head, we need to leave quickly; this is a place where those Half-Orcs eat people. I don't want to become their meal." With that, Yi Junsheng took off running. Seeing Yi Junsheng escape, Reverse Head realized that he could not defeat Half-Leopard Man alone and had no choice but to feign a few attacks before retreating. Half-Leopard Man was weak and had no intention of pursuing them, allowing Yi Junsheng to escape unscathed. Noticing Eastern Proud Dragon's massive size, Half-Leopard Man thought it would be a waste to let him go and decided to take him back to the Half-Orc base, Beast Den, for Leader Half-Dragon to decide his fate.
Having left Qingming River in haste, Qiu Yuxia was rushing toward Yun Yin Temple when she encountered Yi Zhangzhi and Celibacy Master. With no clothes to cover her body and under the control of her internal energy, Qiu Yuxia charged directly at Yi Zhangzhi. Upon seeing her condition, Yi Zhangzhi understood what was happening and immediately unleashed Demonic Arts with Hua Ti Mian Dao Mo cultivation. As Qiu Yuxia rushed toward him, Nightmare Demon gathered his internal energy to confront her with a palm strike. When their limbs met, the reverse energy within Qiu Yuxia was drawn toward Nightmare Demon by his Evil Energy.
At that moment, Huangfu Mingmo arrived on the scene and saw Qiu Yuxia standing before Yi Zhangzhi, Nightmare Demon, and Celibacy Master completely naked. Enraged for his beloved's honor, Huangfu Mingmo prepared to kill everyone present. He concentrated his energy in his fingers and sent several sword auras toward Yi Zhangzhi and the others. Nightmare Demon needed to focus on guiding Qiu Yuxia's energy without distraction while Celibacy Master was too injured to fight back; only Yi Zhangzhi stood ready to face him. Using Tai Chi True Qi to differentiate yin and yang, Yi Zhangzhi neutralized Huangfu Mingmo's sword aura. Huangfu Mingmo soared into the air again and unleashed an even more powerful sword aura aimed at them. To protect everyone’s safety from danger, Yi Zhangzhi invoked a famous Buddhist Sect technique—Swastika Seal—countering Huangfu Mingmo’s astonishing sword strike. However, having already fought several battles and exhausted both body and mind with depleted Inner Strength, Huangfu Mingmo was easily defeated by Yi Zhangzhi.
After several exchanges, new wounds appeared on Huangfu Mingmo's body. At that moment, Nightmare Demon had successfully guided the reverse energy from Qiu Yuxia onto himself. Qiu Yuxia instantly regained consciousness; she saw a handsome face with sharp eyes and an extraordinary figure before her. She immediately developed feelings for Nightmare Demon but snapped back to reality when he coughed; she suddenly realized she was completely naked and felt an overwhelming sense of shame. Seeing this, Celibacy Master took off his robe and handed it to Qiu Yuxia for modesty. After receiving the robe from Celibacy Master but feeling weak due to her reversed energy flow, Qiu Yuxia's legs buckled beneath her as she fainted into Nightmare Demon's arms. He draped the robe over her shoulders before carrying her toward Yun Yin Temple.
Huangfu Mingmo witnessed his beloved being treated so lightly by Nightmare Demon and felt a surge of hatred rise within him as he attacked again. Yi Zhangzhi used Daoist Name Technique—Four Symbols Exterminate Evil—to counter Huangfu Mingmo’s assault with great force. The two attacks collided with a thunderous explosion; Huangfu Mingmo once again suffered defeat as he was sent flying dozens of feet away before spitting blood—unable to continue fighting—watching helplessly as his beloved figure faded into the distance filled with unwilling resentment. Yi Zhangzhi and Celibacy Master then proceeded toward Yun Yin Temple.
The nearly lifeless Eastern Proud Dragon was brought by Half-Leopard Man to Beast Den—the base of the Half-Orcs—where many Half-Orcs looked at this giant with astonished eyes while Leader Half-Dragon of the Half-Beasts had plans of his own in mind. Half-Dragon asked, "What is your name?"
Eastern Proud Dragon gasped for breath and replied, "Eastern Proud Dragon; I wonder if Leader can heal my injuries?"
Half-Dragon responded: "Healing is not a problem as long as you join us Half-Orcs and serve us."
With revenge still unfulfilled and unable to die here, Eastern Proud Dragon could only temporarily agree to Half-Dragon's request until he recovered from his injuries before making further plans. Eastern Proud Dragon said: "Alright then, I will join you."
"From now on, the Eastern Proud Dragon is one of us. No one is allowed to harbor greedy thoughts towards him; those who do will be killed without mercy. The injuries of the Eastern Proud Dragon will be treated by the Half-Tiger Man, and he must also appropriately teach the Eastern Proud Dragon martial arts."
The Half-Tiger Man felt very helpless, but he could not disobey the command of the Half-Dragon and had no choice but to accept it. He then took the Eastern Proud Dragon to his residence, Tiger Cave.
The Nightmare Demon brought the unconscious Qiu Yuxia back to the Guest Room of Yun Yin Temple and settled her in. Qiu Yuxia was starting to regain some consciousness. The Nightmare Demon wanted to leave the room when Qiu Yuxia said, "Can't you stay here with me a little longer?"
The Nightmare Demon replied, "What you need now is rest. Once you have rested enough, your strength will naturally recover. I cannot disturb you here; farewell." He then left the Guest Room and closed the door. Outside, Yi Zhangzhi said, "It seems your fate has arrived, Nightmare Demon."
The Nightmare Demon responded, "I am you; it's better for you to handle this trouble." With that, the Nightmare Demon merged into Yi Zhangzhi's body.
Yi Zhangzhi remarked, "Another troublesome matter!"
Huangfu Mingmo returned to the Martial Arts Tribunal with injuries and asked Bao Qing to go to Yun Yin Temple to bring back his friend Qiu Yuxia. Bao Qing said, "Since it is Mr. Huangfu's request, I will personally go to Yun Yin Temple." Upon hearing that Yi Zhangzhi was at Yun Yin Temple, Wu Sangui from the Martial Arts Tribunal immediately rushed over. Seeing this, Bao Qing feared that Wu Sangui might encounter danger and sent Zhan Zhao to follow and keep an eye on him. Bao Qing then prepared and also headed for Yun Yin Temple.
Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head escaped from the Northern Martial Arts forest, panting heavily and drenched in sweat. Reverse Head asked, "Yi Junsheng, why did you run away so quickly just now? It was only a half-human half-leopard monster; with our combined strength, we could surely defeat it."
Yi Junsheng replied, "You don't understand. Last time I came with Sanwei Daoist to that place, there was more than one monster in that forest. If that Half-Leopard Man can't defeat us, all it has to do is send a signal, and other Half-Orcs will surely swarm out upon seeing it. At that point, we would truly become prey for those monsters."
Reverse Head said, "I see. Now that the Eastern Proud Dragon has been saved by the Half-Leopard Man and we cannot enter the Half-Orc's stronghold, what should we do?"
Yi Junsheng stated, "These Half-Orcs are ferocious beasts that devour people without leaving bones behind. The Tall Guy would undoubtedly meet a terrible fate in their hands; it's a pity we can't personally avenge Sanwei Daoist."
Reverse Head asked, "Are you sure that the Eastern Proud Dragon cannot escape this calamity?"
Yi Junsheng answered affirmatively, "Indeed!"
Reverse Head said, "That's good."
Just as Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head were enjoying their conversation, seven Female Guards from Smoke and Rain, Absolute Flower, Eighteen Floors suddenly appeared and surrounded Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head, intending to capture Yi Junsheng once again. Seeing the aggressive approach of the seven, Reverse Head took the initiative to attack the Female Guards. Yi Junsheng, in order to save his own life, had no choice but to join in the fight against the Female Guards. The seven Female Guards unleashed the Seven Fiends Beast-Trapping Formation to trap Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head within the formation, slowly draining their stamina.
Wu Sangui, who set out first from the Martial Arts Tribunal, arrived alone at Yun Yin Temple. The Abbot, Celibacy Master, personally received Wu Sangui while he was recuperating in the temple. Wu Sangui got straight to the point and said, "Master, I have come today to seek my enemy Yi Zhangzhi. Please open the door of convenience and hand over Yi Zhangzhi so that he may receive his due punishment."
Celibacy Master, with a guilty conscience, replied, "Yi Zhangzhi is not in the temple; please seek him elsewhere."
Wu Sangui did not believe Celibacy Master's words and began searching for Yi Zhangzhi room by room in the Guest Room area of the temple. Just as Wu Sangui opened the door to Qiu Yuxia's Guest Room, he saw Yi Zhangzhi imparting Inner Strength to Qiu Yuxia, helping her recover her stamina quickly. However, this scene was misunderstood by Wu Sangui, who believed that Yi Zhangzhi and Qiu Yuxia were engaged in an inappropriate act. Wu Sangui found Yi Zhangzhi's actions utterly disgraceful and declared, "This is intolerable! Despicable Yi Zhangzhi, today I will eradicate you, the cancer of the martial world."
Under the careful care of Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances, Shu Heng's injuries had healed. Eager for revenge, Shu Heng left without notice and set off on a path of vengeance alone. Shu Heng arrived at Martial Arts Auction, ready to confront Duanmu Chong for his clan's blood feud.
