The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Liu Yi and Old Witch arrived at the ruins of the Poetry Sect. Liu Yi said, "Let's begin." He then recited a spell, and the Green Qi Flow emerged from the ground. The air currents slowly spread out, gradually enveloping the entire ruins of the Poetry Sect. Old Witch trembled, and a cloud of yellow sand rose, accompanied by a chilling aura that built an invisible barrier along the traces of the original structures of the Poetry Sect.

The earth energy, which should have dissipated into the ground, could not break through the barrier set by Old Witch and was instantly absorbed by the Green Qi Flow. After the earth energy disappeared, the ground of the Poetry Sect ruins immediately cracked open, with fissures slowly extending outward. Wherever they passed, all living beings were destroyed, and not a blade of grass grew—worse than a desert.
Old Witch saw that the barren land was beginning to extend outward and retracted the invisible barrier. Liu Yi said, "The work here is done; let's move on to the next location." With that, Liu Yi and Old Witch left the ruins of the Poetry Sect heading toward the Famous Sword Society.
The terrifying phenomenon extending from the Poetry Sect appeared in a village, where many villagers did not have time to escape and were eroded by a strange aura, leaving no bones behind; even their clothes turned to nothingness. All houses collapsed overnight, and even the ruins that could prove there had once been buildings there turned to swirling dust. The cracks in the ground grew longer and wider, causing many large trees to fall into them while those outside the fissures caught fire and turned to ashes in an instant—a horrifying sight that struck fear into anyone who beheld it.
Nightmare Demon arrived at Wind and Rain Valley, where the vortex of the Time-Space Rift continued to swirl ceaselessly with surrounding suction still present. Nightmare Demon said, "In ancient times, Buddha fed eagles with his flesh; today I, Nightmare Demon, sacrifice myself for others." After speaking, he leaped into the Time-Space Rift. Once inside, an invisible force pushed him toward Third Space, but this was not Nightmare Demon's destination. He circulated his true essence and summoned his Inner Strength to resist this invisible force, intending to find an exit leading to First Space within the rift. Unfortunately, within Time-Space Rift, neither Inner Strength nor Qigong could be utilized; Nightmare Demon could only rely on his own strength to counteract the push. After some searching, fortune favored him as Nightmare Demon found an exit leading to First Space opposite that of Third Space. Thus, he made his way toward this exit with great effort; at this point, Nightmare Demon was already drenched in sweat and gasping for breath.
Moments later, Nightmare Demon burst out from the exit into First Space. At this time, numerous ghosts swarmed toward him upon seeing someone from another dimension intrude, eager to devour Nightmare Demon's soul. However, Nightmare Demon was well-prepared; with a swift movement, he unleashed his Evil Energy. The ghosts were drawn away by this Evil Energy and abandoned their assault on Nightmare Demon.
Nightmare Demon asked, "Where is Evil Energy most concentrated within First Space?"
One ghost replied, "In the Phoenix Pool of the Demon Realm; as long as you stay in Phoenix Pool for a while, even Buddha would turn into a demon."
Upon hearing this, Nightmare Demon immediately headed toward Phoenix Pool in the Demon Realm while muttering to himself: "Only by becoming a true demon can I have a chance to defeat God of Consciousness; perhaps this is my last moment of pure thought remaining in this world."
Outside Phoenix Pool, Evil Energy had long since permeated the entire area. Nightmare Demon approached quietly; he had already begun to tremble and could not control his steps as he moved closer to the terrifying Phoenix Pool. The water in Phoenix Pool was black and constantly steaming; mist shrouded its surface without rising or dissipating. At this moment, Nightmare Demon's consciousness became chaotic; however, with a bit of determination, he quickly sealed away his mission after becoming a demon deep within his mind. Just after preserving his consciousness, Nightmare Demon involuntarily jumped into Phoenix Pool.
The water was deep; Nightmare Demon was completely submerged. Within the pool, countless strands of Evil Energy penetrated through Nightmare Demon's body; some even lingered inside him directly. His eyes changed from black to white then red as more steam rose from the surface of the pool and heat intensified. It seemed that Nightmare Demon fell into a state of unconsciousness beneath the pool when suddenly black vines shot up from below and wrapped around him entirely as if nurturing new life.
On the Martial Arts Alliance, Sea Never Dries Up heard the news of his wife Stone Never Decays' death, yet there was not a trace of sadness on his face. Yi Junsheng said, "Sea Never Dries Up, looking at your expression, you seem indifferent to Stone Never Decays' death. She is your lawful wife; how can you be so cold? Is your heart only filled with beautiful women?"
Sea Never Dries Up asked, "Who killed Stone Never Decays?"

However, Sea Never Dries Up's Inner Strength was insufficient; the sword qi broke through his defense and struck him as he shielded Dreamy Beauty from harm, causing him to spit blood and sustain injuries.
Huangfu Mingmo saw that the first strike failed to kill Dreamy Beauty and launched another attack, intending to eliminate Sea Never Dries Up as well. At that moment, Yi Junsheng and Reverse Head arrived, witnessing Dreamy Beauty about to fall victim to Huangfu Mingmo's deadly hands. Yi Junsheng called for Reverse Head to use Qigong to stop Huangfu Mingmo's sword energy. Seeing his subordinate being restrained, Xia Zhouyi drew his sword and unleashed a fierce blade aura aimed directly at Liu Yi. Old Witch noticed this and quickly used Mianju Qigong to thwart Xia Zhouyi's sneak attack. Old Witch said, "Fatty, your opponent is here," then launched another strike at Xia Zhouyi as both sides began their battle.
